• The True Colors Program was brought to our school and community in 1991 by the Valley United Action Group (VUAG) to move toward resolving issues of racism and homphobia.

• Tony Hill was our instructor!

STEP 1 in determining your“True Colors”

• Looking at the pictures and key words on each card or handout section, arrange or number the cards in the order of:

• 1 - Most like you• 2 - Next most like you• 3 - Next• 4 - Least like you

STEP 2

• Turn the cards or paper over and read about each color.

• Rearrange your order if necessary.

STEP 3

• 4 Corners Activity• Meet with your 1st Color group in the assigned

corner.• See if you can find anyone who has exactly the

same order of colors.• Find out which strengths and preferences you

have in common, based on your color order or your first color.
