FEED Inc. is a non-profit organization that provides scholarships and conducts research on agricultural, biodiversity, environmental, forestry, social livelihood and enterprise projects in the Philippines. Since 1993, thousands of indigenous, native endemic species of flora and livelihood crops have been planted throughout the country. Proceeds of this 2015 Musical Tribute will be allocated to the youth leadership, scholarship research grants and “LIVING LEGACY: Plant a Tree, FEED Our Future” reforestation and social forestry projects to protect and preserve our natural heritage and a sustainable future. Artists & Guests MUSICAL TRIBUTE To Education & the Environment

Ophie Bakker-Mananquil, Mezzo Soprano Ophelia Bakker-Mananquil is an avid environmentalist and mezzo-soprano, having trained with Kathy Sternberg (dramatic soprano), Celeste Icban (singer & linguist) and Fides Cuyugan Asensio (Ophie’s voice mentor). Raised on a farm, it has been her dream to sing for the environment, to share her love and thanks for Nature. With the

encouragement of many dear friends and environmentalists, Ophie sings

Fides Cuyugan Asensio, Soprano Fides Cuyugan-Asensio is one of the most outstanding sopranos and musical personalities of the Philippines. At various times she was actress, librettist, lyricist, pedagogue, producer and director. She is currently Professor Emeritus at the University of the Philippines Voice and Music Theater / Dance Department. Fides received the National People's Choice Award for “Grand Achievement Award in Theater Arts”, and was conferred the Lifetime Achievement Award for

her outstanding achievements in music by the Philippine Government.
