Making Life Better Since 1947Cortese Restaurant was founded in 1947 byAngeline Cortese and her sons, James and

Nathan. A third son, Angelo, who more thanhis brothers, dreamed of running a restaurant,

was killed while serving in the U.S. Navyduring World War II. With the help of theirfather Corrado and sister Rita, Jimmy, Nate,

and their Mom built a reputation forconsistantly excellent food, served in a warm

friendly atmosphere. In continuing ourfamily’s tradition, we strive to make every meal
