Leviticus 2:11-13 (NLT)Wednesday Night Service
March 11, 2015
âCâMON MAN A LITTLE SIN CANâT HURT, GOD UNDERSTANDS WE
ARE NOT PERFECT YET!! â
âHEY YOU YEA YOUâ IN THE CONGREGATION I WANT YOU TO
TAKE A LITTLE RIDE WITH ME AND JESUS TONIGHT!!
Leviticus 2:11-13 (NLT)11 âDo not use yeast in any of the grain
offerings you present to the Lord, because no yeast or honey may be burned as an offering to the Lord by
fire. 12 You may add yeast and honey to the offerings presented at
harvesttime, but these must never be burned on the altar as an offering
pleasing to the Lord.
13 Season all your grain offerings with salt, to remind you of Godâs covenant. Never forget to add salt to your grain
offerings.
Matthew 13:33 (NLT)33 Jesus also used this illustration: âThe Kingdom of Heaven is like yeast
used by a woman making bread. Even though she used a large
amount* of flour, the yeast permeated every part of the dough.â
1 Corinthians 5:6-8 (KJV)6 Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the
whole lump? 7 Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ
our passover is sacrificed for us: 8 therefore let us keep the feast, not
with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.
Philippians 3:12-15 (NLT)12 I donât mean to say that I have
already achieved these things or that I have already reached perfection! But I keep working toward that day when I
will finally be all that Christ Jesus saved me for and wants me to be. 13 No,
dear brothers and sisters, I am still not all I should be,* but I am
focusing all my energies on this
one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, 14 I strain to reach the end of the race and
receive the prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us up to heaven.* 15 I hope all of you who are mature Christians will agree on these
things. If you disagree on some point, I believe God will make it plain to you. 16 But we must be sure to obey the
truth we have learned already.
MAN I CANâT GET THINGS RIGHT EVERY TIME I THINK IâM DOING
GOOD I END UP FALLING ON MY FACE AGAIN. âI KNOW I NEED
HELPâ!!
Genesis 18:32 (NLT)32 Finally, Abraham said, âLord, please do not get angry; I will speak but once
more! Suppose only ten are found there?â And the Lord said, âThen, for
the sake of the ten, I will not destroy it.â
Hebrews 12:24 (NLT)24 You have come to Jesus, the one
who mediates the new covenant between God and people, and to the
sprinkled blood, which graciously forgives instead of crying out for
vengeance as the blood of Abel did.
Judges 7:2-3 (NLT)2 The Lord said to Gideon, âYou have
too many warriors with you. If I let all of you fight the Midianites, the Israelites
will boast to me that they saved themselves by their own strength. 3
Therefore, tell the people, âWhoever is timid or afraid may leave* and go
home.ââ Twenty-two thousand of them went home, leaving only ten thousand
who were willing to fight.
2 Chronicles 20-17 (NLT) 17 But you will not even need to fight.
Take your positions; then stand still and watch the Lordâs victory. He is with you, O people of Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid or discouraged. Go out there tomorrow, for the Lord is with
you!â
MAN I WILL WAIT UNTIL GOD HAS GIVEN ME SOME TYPE OF MAJOR SIGN FROM HEAVEN BEFORE I
BECOME A WITNESS !!
Matthew 10:1-8 (NLT)1 Jesus called his twelve disciples to
him and gave them authority to cast out evil spirits and to heal every kind of disease and illness. 2 Here are the names of the twelve apostles: first
Simon (also called Peter), then Andrew (Peterâs brother), James (son of
Zebedee), John (Jamesâs brother), 3 Philip, Bartholomew, Thomas,
Matthew (the tax collector), James (son of Alphaeus), Thaddaeus, 4 Simon (the
Zealot* ), Judas Iscariot (who later betrayed him). 5 Jesus sent the twelve
disciples out with these instructions: âDonât go to the Gentiles or the
Samaritans, 6 but only to the people of IsraelâGodâs lost sheep. 7 Go and
announce to them that the Kingdom of Heaven is near.*
8 Heal the sick, raise the dead, cure those with leprosy, and cast out
demons. Give as freely as you have received!
Isaiah 6:8-10 (KJV)8 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me. 9 And he said, Go, and tell
this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not. 10 Make the heart of this people fat, and make their
ears heavy, and shut their eyes;
lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with
their heart, and convert, and be healed.
MAN I DONâT FEEL RIGHT BECAUSE I DONâT EVEN HAVE THAT MUCH
MONEY TO PUT IN THE OFFERING PLATE OR BLESS THE CHURCH WITH TITHES AND OFFERINGS
BECAUSE IâM STRAPPED TO THESE CREDIT CARDS ETC!!
Luke 21:1 (NLT)1 While Jesus was in the Temple, he watched the rich people putting their gifts into the collection box. 2 Then a poor widow came by and dropped in
two pennies.* 3 âI assure you,â he said, âthis poor widow has given more than all the rest of them. 4 For they have given a tiny part of their surplus, but
she, poor as she is, has given everything she has.â
MAN I WISH I HAD THE SAME FAITH AS THE APOSTLES I WOULD DO MIGHTY THINGS FOR GOD JUST
LIKE PAUL, PETER AND THE REST OF THE DISCIPLES!!
Matthew 9:19-22 (KJV)19 And Jesus arose, and followed him,
and so did his disciples. 20 And, behold, a woman, which was diseased
with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind him, and touched the hem
of his garment: 21 for she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I
shall be whole. 22 But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her,
he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the
woman was made whole from that hour.
Matthew 17:20 (NLT)20 âYou didnât have enough faith,â
Jesus told them. âI assure you, even if you had faith as small as a mustard seed you could say to this mountain,
âMove from here to there,â and it would move. Nothing would be impossible.â*
IS THIS YOU OR IS THIS SOMEONE YOU KNOW?
1. âMAN I JUST CANâT DO IT.â2. MAN GOD HAS TO LITERALLY
SLAP ME UP SIDE MY HEAD IN ORDER FOR ME TO BELIEVE HE WANTS ME TO DO SOMETHINGâ
3. I BELIEVE GOD IS ASKING ME TO DO WAY TOO MUCH BEYOND MY SKILLSâ
Exodus 4:10-16 (NLT)10 But Moses pleaded with the Lord, âO
Lord, Iâm just not a good speaker. I never have been, and Iâm not now,
even after you have spoken to me. Iâm clumsy with words.â
11 âWho makes mouths?â the Lord asked him. âWho makes people so they
can speak or not speak, hear or not hear, see or not see? Is it not I, the
Lord? 12 Now go, and do as I have told you. I will help you speak well, and I will
tell you what to say.â 12 Now go, and do as I have told you. I will help you speak well, and I will tell you what to say.â 13 But Moses again pleaded, âLord, please! Send someone else.â
14 Then the Lord became angry with Moses. âAll right,â he said. âWhat about your brother, Aaron the Levite? He is a good speaker. And look! He is on his way to meet you now. And when he
sees you, he will be very glad. 15 You will talk to him, giving him the words to
say. I will help both of you to speak clearly, and I will tell you what to do.
16 Aaron will be your spokesman to the people, and you will be as God to him, telling him what to say. 17 And be sure to take your shepherdâs staff along so
you can perform the miraculous signs I have shown you.â
NOW THAT YOU TRAVELLED IN TIME WITH CHRIST DID YOU LEARN
ANYTHING ABOUT HIM AND YOURSELF? DID YOU ENJOY YOUR
RIDE WITH HIM?
JESUS WANTS YOU TO KNOW THIS LAST THING ABOUT HIM BEFORE HE
LEAVES YOUR VEHICLE.
Romans 8:31-38 (NKJ)31 What shall we then say to these
things? If God be for us, who can be against us? 32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us
all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? 33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of Godâs elect? It is God that justifieth. 34 Who is he that
condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen
again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the
love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all
the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. 37 Nay, in all
these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor
principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 nor
height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us
from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord
