OBJECTIVES
N.S.Polytechnic College having a difference in innovation, planning and dreaming, dare to materialize such a mega – event like Job-Fair. A Job-Fair is not a traditional fair like any village-fair,book- fair or craft-fair or not a Sellers-Buyers meet. It is a well planned arrangement to facilitate best exposition both of the job-seekers and recruiters. A Job-Fair having multi-dimensional aspect towards human resource development as well as career development, job seekers expose themselves with their knowledge and skill they achieved to satisfy the job providers who are in search of competent employees as per requirement. In present un-employment scenario, this type of fair may be considered as an ‘OASIS’ to the aspirants. Industries or organizations are also provided open scopes to introduce their institutional exposition. It is also a platform to promote institute-Industry relationship for better existence of all concerned. A few of the aspirants get jobs and a few of them can realize their competency – level and industry readiness who are availed the scopes of career counseling by exports. Generally, technical institutions arrange Campus-Recruitment to provide placement assistance for their own students. But N.S. Polytechnic College and a few associated polytechnics organize Job Fair regularly for all the students of any institution. But it is too unfortunate for us that due to self-centric and negative attitude of some institutional authorities, students’ participation is seemed to be unexpectedly poor and success is opposed in some respect. We expect active co-operation from all the institutions to ensure students participation and to make our effort successful as it is in the interest to Technical Education and of course also an obligation to the society. I convey my deep regards to the Hon’ble guests and dignitaries for their worthy footsteps and valuable massages and best wishes to the students. Warm, welcome to visit our campus and to share this grant celebration of Job Fair with us. I expect innovative suggestions, heartiest co-operations from all concerned to make this effort successful in all respect.

NS POLYTECHNIC COLLEGE started its journey in the year 2012 being approved by AICTE, New Delhi, and affiliated to West Bengal State Council of Technical & Vocational Education and Skill Development. The institute is located in a lush green campus and is at a distance of 10 km from Mankar Railway station and 14 km from Guskara Railway Station with well connected local transportation facilities from all the major residential and business localities of West Bengal. The Institute offers 4 Polytechnic courses leading to Diploma. in CE, ME, EE, SE. The laboratories of NS Polytechnic College are well equipped. The spacious library consisting of large volume of books and issues of hard copies of National/International journals,well qualified resource persons reciprocate to the requirements of every individual student. The well furnished placement cell with spacious lounge, discussion room, and Board room along with systems in LAN computing facility bridges the students with the industries. The computer, sports, canteen, hostels (separate for boys and girls), Wi-Fi, transportation, medical facilities are the salient features here . Good relationship among the departments, cultural and creative bonding of the students and staff made a rhythm to make it a systematic one. Regular Workshops, Seminars, exhibition of projects, mock interviews, soft skill development are the additional activities to make the students competent. . The industry Information Center orients the every individual student of NS Polytechnic College and guides them towards their goal. The pre-placement training including communication skill, soft skill, technical skill, aptitude skill, GD and many more, provides opportunities and courage to face campus selection. Placement of any institute reflects the end result of all the hard-work done by the students as well as their mentors. Our goal in the placement cell is to encourage all the students to achieve their dream of getting placed in a reputed company. What is Training & Placement Cell: Training and Placement Cell is an integral part of an institute. It trains, develop, groom and makes students ready for final Placement. The cell invites various industries and reputed firms for campus recruitment. Civil engineering is arguably the oldest engineering discipline. It deals with the built environment and can be dated to the first time someone placed a roof over his or her head or laid a tree trunk across a river to make it easier to get across.
Civil engineers design, build, and maintain the foundation for our modern society – our roads and bridges, drinking water and energy systems, sea ports and airports, and the infrastructure for a cleaner environment, to name just a few.
Civil engineers create, improve and protect the environment in which we live. They plan, design and oversee construction and maintenance of building structures and facilities, such as roads, railways, airports, bridges, harbours, dams, irrigation projects, power plants, water and sewerage systems.

Electrical Engineering is one of the fastest growing fields that involves study and application of electricity and electronics. It is the most interesting branch of engineering because it involves study of computer, electrical and electronics and communication. Electrical engineering deals with generation, transmission and distribution of electricity.

Nearly all electrical and electronic devices, from the generators at an electric power plant to the microprocessors in your phone, use these few basic components.
Electrical Engineering is a broad discipline that has many career outcome possibilities. Electrical Engineers are much in demand in India. In the recent years, from house to companies every where there is a necessity of electricity to function, offering numerous opportunities to electrical engineers.

Now a days Survey means not only Land Survey. The Mine Survey, Geological Survey,Archiological Survey,Arial Survey,Amin Survey,Opographycal Survey, Hydrographical Survey even LAND LAWS etc are ails included in Surveying.
In every project needs a proper Surveying. Survey is a popular part of Engineering. it is co-related with Civil. The life of surveyor is rough and tough. They should able to take challenges. they should prepare themselves for an adventures life. The jobs demands of survey is always high. Because a small number of pupil have the courage to choose survey trade. There are so many opportunities to work in abroad.

Mathematics may be described as the fundamental science. It may be broadly described as the science of space, time and number. The universe exists in space and time, and is constituted of units of matter. To calculate the extension or composition of matter in space and time and to compute the units that make up the total mass of the material universe is the object of Mathematics. For the space-time quantum is everywhere full of matter and we have to know matter mathematically in the first instance. It is said that Mathematics is the gate and key of the Science. All scientific education which does not commence with Mathematics is said to be defective at its foundation. Neglect of mathematics works injury to all knowledge.Mathematics has played and continues to play a critical role in expanding fields of science and technology because of the basic requirement that research needs to be able to quantify and accurately evaluate the results of changes/advances in a field of endeavor.
As far as the laws of mathematics refer to reality, they are not certain; and as far as they are certain, they do not refer to reality.

Physics has been described as the most fundamental aspect of natural sciences. Basically, physics is the scientific study of the interaction of energy and matter. Energy can take many forms and includes light, electricity, radiation, gravity and motion. Physics works by observing the natural world and utilizing the scientific method to devise and test hypotheses. The objective of physics is to analyze the results of these experiments so that scientific laws can be formulated. These are often expressed in the language of mathematics, another subject closely tied to physics, and then it is possible to make predictions about other phenomena.Because Physics is such a huge subject it is divided into very many different specific fields of study that include electronics, astronomy, biophysics and quantum physics, and affect our everyday lives in so many ways that the majority of us never ever think about.The role of physics in engineering education is not a static one. It must respond and evolve with the momentous changes in both engineering and physics which are occurring continually. The predominant reliance of early engineering upon art is giving way to a modern technology based squarely upon the physical sciences. Since the beginning of this century we have seen as much progress in physics as had been obtained in the whole previous history of mankind. Yet the obvious and enormous increase in subject matter of modern physics is not the most significant factor relating to the aim of instruction in physics in the education of engineers. On the contrary, the cardinal aim should be that of imparting to the student a point of view, an attitude of mind, and a capacity to deal with the principles and methods of analysis of contemporary physics, for, without training and experience in these modes of thought, neither physicist nor engineer will prove competent to deal with the emerging problems of science and technology.

This is the only reason behind its Success. Depending only on that, the Institute as well as the Organization rapidly developed day by day by establishing othert educational institutes, Socio – Economic and Charitable activities at the rural and Adibasi habitate of Chandipur Danga. Having a strong bonding with Gobindapur Sephali Memorial Polytechnic and Santiniketan Institute of Polytechnic it also Co-relates us with them in various planning and activities.
It is an organization, enlisted under Paschim Banga Society for Skill Development having a nos. of Training Centers all over the State for successful implementation of short term Vocational/Technical Courses .The management having a dream to make it a IT Resource centre to adopt with the updated Technological Revolution.
Initially, it is an online exam. Centre for different Govt. competitive exams like-RRB,LIC, BANK etc .Formal exam system has been modified to online mode. But infact, a lots of young people mainly from the rural areas aspiring for Govt. or any secured jobs are not well conversant with the system. It has been started to conduct mock test ,coaching for online exams for the students and full /part time IT /official jobs for the unemployed or employed youths .Regular students both from academic and technical /professional institutions ,teachers, staffs , IT professionals and unemployed youths are availed sufficient scopes as part time/off time jobs to learn and earn parallely.
The students get new hope in this diversified arrangement for career development and employment.
It always welcomes teachers, students, employees, guardians to a new horizon beyond the traditional education and training- system when there is a hopeless and aimless situation in learning and earning for a better existence of all concerned.
