• REAL PE IS FULLY EMBEDDED WITHIN THE TRUST
• 1200 PUPILS TAKE PART IN REAL PE LESSONS EVERY WEEK, CONTINUALLY ASSESSING THEIR
LEARNING JOURNEY.
• FAMILY FUNS EMBEDDED IN BOTH SCHOOLS HAVING WORKED WITH 22 FAMILIES SINCE ITS
LAUNCH IN SUMMER 2015
• REAL GYM TO START NOVEMBER 2015
• JUNIOR LEADER PROGRAMME FULLY EMBEDDED SINCE 2012
• CREATE DEVELOPMENT ASSESSMENT WHEEL IS USED FOR ASSESSING CURRICULUM SUBJECTS
SUCH AS PE, MATH'S AND MUSIC. IT IS CURRENTLY BEING DEVELOPED FOR LITERACY.
• THE ASSESSMENT WHEEL IS ALSO USED AS A TOOL TO MONITOR EVIDENCE OF IMPACT FOR PE AS
A SUBJECT AS WELL AS EVIDENCE OF FEEDBACK FOR TEACHERS OF PE LESSONS

• IMPROVED ATTENDANCE- NOW AT 95.4% AND CONTINUES TO GROW. IN 2009
ATTENDANCE WAS 92.5%
• BOTH SCHOOLS THIS YEAR HAD THEIR BEST EVER SATS RESULTS
• PARTICIPATION IN EXTRA CURRICULAR CLUBS & CHILDREN'S UNIVERSITY
CONTINUES TO GROW EACH YEAR
• MARISH ACADEMY TRUST HAVE INVESTED IN MORE PE STAFF TO DEVELOP PUPILS
AND CLASS TEACHERS IN PE
• MARISH AND WILLOW HAVE BOTH ACHIEVED GOLD SCHOOL GAMES KITEMARK
• MARISH ACADEMY TRUST IS A BEACON SCHOOL FOR CREATE DEVELOPMENT
JUNIOR LEADERS
• JUNIOR LEADER PROGRAMME IS AIMED AT PUPILS IN YEARS 4-6
• RECOGNISES PUPILS WHO ARE NATURAL LEADERS AMONGST THEIR PEERS
AND THEN THEIR LEADERSHIP SKILLS ARE DEVELOPED THROUGHOUT THE
PROGRAMME
• EMBRACE ROLES AROUND THE SCHOOL TO SUPPORT AND CELEBRATE
LEARNING AND THE ACHIEVEMENTS OF THE SCHOOL
• LEADERS WEAR A DIFFERENT UNIFORM, GIVEN JOB DESCRIPTIONS AND
CONTRACTS
• SUPPORT THEIR PEERS AND THOSE IN THE LOWER YEARS IN THE CLASSROOM
