Louisa gets up in the morning and, as part of a modern care system, tries to get an overview of her everyday life and that of her slightly demented grandfather.

Louisa as a modern, dislocated "Nursing Relative" is involved in the (smart) care of her country-living grandfather. She tries to view relevant information from the smart care assistant system "Detect & Connect" immediately after getting up. That gives her the certainty that her grandfather is doing well.

At night her grandfather is alone at home. Louisa feels better when she informed about dangerous situations related to her grandfather’s status during the night and also tries to assess his overall condition based on his state of activity.

With a sensor system embedded in the "Detect & Connect" system and mounted on the bed, permanent activity can be recorded during sleep or rest periods (based on movements). Relevant, sleep-related exceptions and health parameters can be detected. The abstracted data is imported into the Detect & Connect system and can be viewed by Louisa on the smartphone.
