There is a Basic report which is free. Anyone can take the TSDI free of charge and receive the Basic Report. The Basic Report includes the identified
teacher type, teacher style, individual scores, strong or moderate fit, and identified teacher type & style blend.
WHAT IS THE TSDI? The Teacher Self-Discovery Inventory (TSDI) is a valid and reliable 54-item, self-assessment that identifies a teacher's type and style. GIFTS, TRAPS, & RELEASES Each teacher type and style has gifts (or strengths), traps (mindset or practice that is counterproductive to effective teaching), and releases from the traps. STRENGTHS-BASED MODEL Focusing on strengths, such as teacher type and style, can promote exponential, effective, and efficient growth. THE TSDI PREMIUM REPORT The teacher’s blend (the type and style mix) identifies over 40 gifts, traps, and releases. The gifts and releases are further explained and described in linked online pages for further study and professional growth. The TSDI Premium Report identifies a teacher’s type, style, gifts, traps, releases, and more so that a teacher can grow in his/her profession.
