I always get lots of questions from people who are curious about what I do and how I do it. So I’ve put together a day in the life of a copywriter. Of course, working at home gives me lots of flexibility (that’s one of the things I love about it!) and no two days are exactly the same. I wish that I could sit down all day and just write, but there is a lot more to it than that. The following list of items will give you an idea of the type of work that is involved in being a freelance copywriter. Check emails regarding a new or current assignment. Interview any new client by phone or email. Calculate the cost involved for an assignment for a new client.
