“A Coffee Tale”

By Dr. Wilco

Ahhhhh, this should be interesting. . . Lets sit down and have ourselves a wee chat about coffee. I havebeen waiting for the opportunity to bring this issue up with you, so, do you have a minute?

I am going to start this article with throwing at you a list of consequences that can be the result of consuming this dark bitter liquid. For all you coffee drinkers out there it will most likely burst your coffeebubble, I sure hope so. For those who will choose to ignore this message, I say; all my respect to you but Ithink and know that it is time to get real with your vices and face the truth that this addicting brew canand will play Russian roulette with your well being

conditioned to believe that a few cups a day are actually good for ye.

And when you indeed decided to break the habit, to kick the bucket on coffee, you will have toundergo ( depending on your level of addiction ) some withdrawal symptoms, that ain't very pleasanteither but of course you will come out of those annoyances a new person.

And that new person will start to experience ( providing you started to implement new diet philosophies, like adding more raw living foods ) what it is like to feel naturally energized, to wake upfresh and stay on a high all throughout the day. ( to stop drinking coffee but continue eating junk food

ain't gonna cut it )

But before you can experience this natural high this is what you possible can go through;

Ø Some more headachesØ IrritabilityØ Muscle issuesØ nauseaØ Memory lossØ Intense fatigue

The body has to go through these withdrawals unfortunately ( intensity depends on the addiction level but it will be resetting its natural energy rhythms and functions and will start to give you that naturalenergy, that natural high – no more dragging behind yourself.

There is a great book that came out some time ago called; “Caffeine Blues” and I remember that theauthor spend a good 10 years on collecting all this information on this drug. I forgot the guys name but Iam sure you can find out if you are interested in reading more about it. ( In case my persuasion is not enough ). The whole world is addicted to coffee, people from all walks of life. It can be indeed a touchysubject – people will always defend there drug as harmless as it seems to them.

I want to continue now with the most obvious reason why people drink coffee. I have observed thismany many times in hotel lobbies where you can find these big coffee machines. Their brewing the stuff allthroughout the day and I would observe the hotel guests walking around the lobby with their big mugsand fill it up repeatedly to the rim. That routine of course is not only privileged to the hotels but inpeoples home's as well. “we have to have a cuppa coffee, because otherwise we can not make it throughthe day”. It is quite the perpetual routine. The believe that it will indeed bring you a energy boost, a kickin the butt, it is truly a misconception that is blindly believed by many. The caffeine will indeed provideyou with a reaction that is perceived as a increase of energy but in fact it robs you off the precious energyof your body and it will come back at you to claim it back.

No substances in this world can give you more energy!! There is nothing in a pill, drink, or physical

activity ( sports kick-start your energy but does not create more ) that produces more energy. You have aset amount of energy levels that are at your disposal. You just have to utilize these levels properlyaccording to the laws of Excitation. Herbert Shelton, the father of Natural Hygiene states;

“Whenever any irritating substance or influence is brought to bear upon the living organism this occasions vital resistance and excitation manifested by increased and impaired action, which always necessarily diminishes the power of action and does so in precisely the degree to which it accelerates action; the increased action is caused by the extra expenditure of vital power called out, not supplied, by the compulsory process, and therefore the available supply of power is diminished by this amount Under all circumstances, vitality or energy of any character whatever is invariably manifested or noticed by us, as energy, in its expenditure, never in its accumulation”.

In other words, what appears to give us energy is draining our energies. The stimulation people get fromdrinking coffee is an expenditure of vital forces, not real energy which can only come from deep sleep.

Let me explain this a little bit further. There is only one source of energy, you can only obtain energythrough the practice of sleeping. There is no other way. Of course we all know that when we are tired andwe go to sleep we wake up feeling refreshed and ready to take on another day, but the misunderstandinghappens when we are thinking that if the night of sleeping for what ever reason did not produce enoughenergy we can add or create some more by artificial means ( please read if not done so already, my article on energy, on my home page ). Most, if not everybody, did experience at least several times in their lives

through whatever way, the illusion of feeling energized by product or action X, then to crash down andfind to be needing to sleep more hours then normal to be able to feel energized again. It really feels likecatching up on sleep hours. Your set amount of energy is drained and it needs to be recharged. So the keyto feeling energized early in the morning and to continue this high throughout the day is to preventunnecessary enervation to the body, so your levels never go down too much. So that the body has plentyof reserves for the tasks of operating the important bodily functions with the most important one being,the removal of build up toxins that can lead otherwise inevitably to disease.

Another interesting part to understand as well is that coffee is responsible for a lot of miserable peopleout there. The mood swings associated with coffee drinking is greatly underestimated. My o my, do weever get cranky in the morning if we do not get our fix. It is not the natural way to be, you become stuckin a perpetual state of false energy and fake uplifted spirits, to then quickly crash again and becomefatigued and moody. It is exhausting you have to admit. The chemical stimulation is actually the body'sstruggle to deal with increased blood and stress hormones, but it is a deceiving alertness, there are no realincreased motor and mental functions at all.

“Drink it in moderation they say, well who ever they are, they are wrong. Here as well it is thepropaganda machine working. Even one cup a day is bad. Because how can even one cup of poison begood for you? – that is what it is by the way – POISON

Some people seem to tolerate it pretty well ( so they think ) they do not get affected by the liquid thateasily. Everybody has a slightly different toxin removal set up and because the more you drink and getadapted by this poison, the more difficult and poorly the body expels it. Look at children that consumecoffee for the first time, they can go and fly off the roof with their first cup. It clearly shows the instantpoisonous effect the substance has when consumed in a pure system like that of a child. So please forgetabout that, moderation message. It is not true and we are conditioned to believe it and we look forexcuses to accept it. These are all signs of denial and reflect unfortunately the behavior of a drug addict, if you like it or not.

I learned once that coffee originally was used as a medicine. There was a point in time where toxinswere administered to patients because it was believed it would heal them. In a sense though it has notchanged much. There are a lot of medications that contain caffeine and the caffeine is their active

ingredient. Apparently a long time ago it was discovered by monks that you can roast these toxic beansand make a drink out of it, so soon after of course people stayed awake a lot longer. For some cultures itcame in handy e.g. when there were long religious masses held, you could pray longer. When it wasintroduced to Europe by early explores it was received as a most repelling drink, but when the addictiveresponses were discovered and people found a way to make it palatable, the new beverage was hailed asa tremendous discovery and addition to the rich cultures of Europe.

It is interesting to know that the human race since a very long time has been looking for ways to findstimulation. We have been going through various types of drugs throughout the centuries and everycentury has its own drug in a way. We are presently being drugged by, coffee, tea, coca cola, energydrinks, drugs like heroine or cocaine ( and the countless others ) and Pharmaceutical prescriptions. They allcome in numerous shapes and forms. Again, it is interesting that we feel such a need to escape from our

realities, is it not? It is much more rewarding to thrive on natural energy, it is after all the most valuablegift that is given to us. This natural energy that we are blessed with is seriously threatened by realizingwhat coffee actually contains. To start off, it has proximately 200 different acids in it, so it is clearly veryacid forming to the body which is a problem to say the least. In its natural state it is actually a biologicalpoison, that is used by the plant as a pesticide. The bitter taste will keep any bug away from the plant(ahhh the intelligence of the natural world ). Furthermore, it has a amazing collections of dangerouschemicals in it and most importantly it has, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH's) in it. You mightremember them as the cancer-causing agents isolated from barbecued meat.

I will not bore you with any more details but I think I made it clear here that coffee needs to be avoided.

The last thing I would like to touch upon is the effect that coffee has on our sleep patterns. For me this isone of the most serious dangers to your health. Deep REM sleep is of utmost importance for health. Coffeedisrupts this deep sleep and this leads inevitably to enervation, and enervation leads to a build up of toxins, toxins lead to the on-start of disease. And when enervated a person triggers off the practice of drinking coffee to wake up. It does not matter at what time you drink caffeinated drinks on a average dayand it does not help to stop drinking it a few hours before going to bed, like a lot of people do.

I hope I lifted the veil for you a little bit here on coffee. I know what it is like, I gave it up myself a good15 years ago. I remember what it did to me, I understand that you think that you need it. But this need has

many consequences for your health in the future. Please realize that if you are a drinker of coffee whenreading this article you need to start to take charge of your health – it is time to let go.

Thank you for reading.

My door is always open for more questions and comments.

Please stay tuned for future articles that help you find your new path.

Sincerely

Wilco
