US-95 Granite North Safety Improvements95Project Update - January 2019
The Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) held a public meeting on July 31, 2018, to share plans to add frontage roads along US-95 from just south of Homestead Rd. to Trails End Rd. and to widen approximately 1.5 miles of the highway. We heard your concerns and the project team is working to address as many as possible. The project team is working to refine the design and is meeting individually with several property owners to discuss right of way (ROW) needs and impacts. As a result, the ROW acquisition process will occur in spring 2019 rather than this winter. Construction is still anticipated to start in spring/summer of 2020.
