Early Morning Sept. 11, 2001

• 4 new attendants get on a plane (Flight 93) unscheduled. This was the first plane to hit the WTC.

• Half the passengers book onto Flight 93 last minute.

• More than ½ of the attendants on Flight 175 aren’t supposed to be there.

Later that Morning

• Two more Flights have Flight attendants unassigned. Then comes one of the worst days in American History.

8:45 am

• American Airlines Flight 11 crashes into the World Trade Centre

• Many ran down the stairs to evacuate, and some jumped to their deaths.

9:06 am

• Another Flight comes, and crashes into the other tower of the World Trade Centre

10:00 am-11:00 am

• The Towers Collapse.

Reaction

• Airports have increased security in order to prevent this from happening again

• George W. Bush takes action. He declares war on Terrorism

• Every year, we remember those who died in the attacks, and those who died trying to save lives.
