GAUGE:

19 sts + 24 rows = 4 in. (10 cm) in St st (k on RS, p on WS). BE SURE TO CHECK YOURGAUGE. STITCH EXPLANATION:

Slipping first st of every WS row for selvedge st, work even in St st until piece measures 14 1/2 (16 1/2) in. (37 (42)cm) above cast-on sts for sleeve, end with a WS row.Cut yarn and slip sts to a holder.

LEFT FRONTWork as for Right Front, reversing shaping and ending with a WS row.Joining for Back YokeWith RS facing, work across 122 (131) sts of Left Front, work 122 (131) sts of Right Front from holder - 244 (262)sts.Continue in St st for 3 in. (7.5 cm), end with a WS row.Shape Back and SleevesNext Row: K78, join a 2nd ball of yarn and bind off 88 (106) sts (back yoke), k to end of row.Working both sleeves at the same time with separate balls of yarn, dec 1 st at Back edge of each sleeve every row16 times (for underarm shaping) - 62 sts remain for each sleeve.Bind off. FINISHINGFold pleat along purl sts on Back, with sl sts meeting at center back. Sew pleat in place. Sew bound-off edge of Backto bound-off edge of yoke, easing to fit.
