Global Heavyweight ChampionshipThis Championship will be defended every other tour (even-numbered tours only). In order to earn a shot for this title you must challenge the champion to a non-title match during a tour in which the title is not being defended (odd-numbered tours). The TRASH TALKER who defeats the current Global Heavyweight Champion by the most points will receive a title shot the following tour. MATCH MUST BE MARKED GLOBAL. If two wrestlers defeat the Champion by the same amount in a non title match, point flow will decide the tie breaker. If no one is able to defeat the Champion there will be no title defense and wrestlers can challenge again the next odd-numbered tour. Current Champion must submit trash talk AND be active during any tour a title match takes place, or he forfeits his 2 point handicap. Global Television ChampionshipThis Championship will be defended EVERY tour. In order to receive a shot at this title you must win the League Battle Royal. The battle royal winner will receive a shot at the TV Championship the following tour and also receives 1 free match for every battle royal participant. Champions are not required to submit trash talk for this title as it is defended every tour. In the event of current Champion winning the battle royal, the last man thrown out is awarded the title opportunity. Champion must be active or he forfeits his 2 point handicap.

Arya takes several seconds to reply.

Valin: I will do what is required. Tactics must be adjusted if

one is to grow. My intensity must be matched by tranquility.

That is how I will climb the mountain in front of me.

We return to find the Monster backstage with Karli Smith.

Karli: Marcus, the GCL’s first pay-per-view will be taking place in less than a few hours. You managed to defeat Hugh Mungus to earn a match against Adrian Adams. Any last minute thoughts?

Marcus: All I can think about is wiping the smug, stupid smile from Adrian’s face. He won’t be able to hide behind a screen tonight, or just glorified hitman. His biggest problem is that man to man? He doesn’t stack up to the Monster. Not even close.

The GCL Television champion is on a local news show

in Fort Worth in the days leading up to Global Warming.

We join in mid-interview…

Reporter: So this battle royal earned you the title match?

Scott: Winning it, yes. Then I showed Holden that the only

thing he can hold onto is his body odor.

Reporter: And your first defense is that Global Warming

against fan favorite Cole Jennings?

Scott: That’s right. This guy walks around in his cowboy hat

and spur boots like it’s that 1870s. And he going to wrestle a

steel cage match the same night. Easy pickings.

Reporter: So it’d be extra embarrassing to lose to him?

Scott: (glaring) No chance of that, Brokaw. Watch the show.

Justice Washington is in his locker room, unknotting his

necktie, when Robert Hall approaches.

Robert: Mr. Washington! You earned a match on the first-ever

GCL pay-per-view. Are you going to be at 100 percent?

Justice: So Black Mass will finally get my retribution.

Robert: Uh… no. You’re facing Ben Dead.

Justice looks at Hall before turning back to the mirror. He

suddenly punches the glass, shattering pieces everywhere.

Justice: Fine. I will take him out first.

Itazura Kuso enters

Drake Douglas- Global Warming is upon us and the man that everyone wants to hate

but just has a problem doing it Drake Douglas is set to defend the GCL Heavyweight

Championship against Minneapolis Miler, who unfortunately is named after such a

troubled place in this world but I’ll leave that for Keyboard Warrior Don to address

since he’s a smart guy.

But yes we finally have Douglas v Miler with the championship on the line and even

more importantly the top spot in the rankings is up for grabs. See Miler it’s simple, I

respect talent, I respect you because you are a talent. I put you over because this is a

money match. Do I expect that same line of respect back, definitely not from one of the

good ol’ boys of COT but that circle isn’t what it used to be. That tight knit group isn’t so

tight anymore as some of your boys are coming over to the Drake and giving the

respect and wishing me luck in what I have no doubt be the biggest test in my GCL

career. Like I said it’s a money match and will be a definition as to where we go from

here. Me, I’m going into the next event as the champion, I’m going to do what it takes

to win, and leave as the champion. I respectfully wish you luck, you’ll need it.

As for the author of the butt hurt locker, do you see how easy it is to mind ***k an IWA manager. Do you see how words

can be twisted into allowing others to believe something. See the trick is I bring up the past because several managers

here caused that past to become GCL’s present and future. COT & TBABIT are a huge part of why GCL died and GCL was
