The film reflects a reality we have all around us, not visible to everybody but all the more cruel for those involved. It is about girls who have left the poverty and discrimination of their native countries, only to be exploited in the new country. Money, greed and a demand for sexual services cause the exploitation to continue and human values to be undermined. The film takes place in Stockholm, but it could just as well be in any other city in the world. Dream business is a contemporary story that shakes our foundations and asks questions. Is everything for sale? Does everyone have a choice? What is a human being worth? How open are our borders?

RAMY ESSAM VOICE OF A NEW GENERATION In 2011 Ramy Essam exploded into international fame as the real voice of the Egyptian revolution. His songs spread like wildfire among the demonstrators, and during the height of the uprising Ramy performed in front of millions of people in the Tahrir Square. The songs became the soundtrack of a whole generation of young Egyptians struggle for a better future. His song ”Irhal”, in which he s demanding the resignation of Mubarak, is referred to as the real anthem of the revolution. But fame came with a heavy price with brutal torture and arrests meant to silence Ramy. Still, he came out even stronger and more determined to speak out against the oppression. ”In the revolution I was born again. The struggle became the purpose of my life.” While the Middle East struggles with its future direction, the Ramy Essam of 2016 stands out as one of its most important voices. Just like rock n roll has always been the voice of the young, rebel rocker Ramy takes aim at the younger generation to express its struggle for a progressive and modern society. We´ll be guided through confessions, rituals and half-scientific facts by our reptile hostess, and rejoice in the fact that prince Charles just might be a lizard from outer space. The stage is transformed into a dreamlike forest where trees are suspended upside down from the ceiling, and the fog hangs thick in the air. Shifting between stand-up, cabaret and monologue, the evening’s reptilian hostess pursues you through the dark forest of the astral dreamscape to teach you a thing or two about life that you didn’t think you needed to know. Afterwards, you’ll know better. You’ll realize that you have grown up and that everything you know is wrong.

LINTUKOTO Musiikkiteatteri Kapsäkki The musical, Safe Haven, came into being in January 2016 based on the topics that dominated Finland's news landscape. The themes selected for the play were street patrols and the discussions that emerged around them. Using people's stories, the nearly through-composed musical paints a detailed picture of the Finland we live in right now. Safe Haven does not explain everything about everything; more importantly, it asks those very questions that many of us have in mind this spring: Where is the good disappearing to? Where does all this hatred come from?
