The books issued are identical – including document No., Revision Numbers and Revision status except for Chapter 10 Appendixes Set1 Book39 D-CLED S/N 912533 Set 2 Book 47 D-CLET S/N 912603 Chapter follows its own editing policy. The lead (general) pages follow the revision dates and numbering. Each Appendix is “personalized” by the aircrafts SN, Page n of n numbering and the issuance date. It is distributed on a demand basis. Let 410 Maintenance Manual (MM) Let 410 Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC) Let 410 Wiring Manual (WM) Let 410 Airframe Repair Manual (ARM) Let 410 Album of the Production, Operation and Repair Tolerances (LT) The Sets of Manuals – MM; IPC and WM - have been issued per individual aircraft. However – the contents does not differ The L410 books cover the LET 410 Versions UVP-E, UVP-E9 and UVP-E20. The manuals for the aircraft are identical. If differences arise (S/N – individual aircraft) these will be covered under Chapter 90 – Supplements. Therefore - only one electronic version has been produced. The Maintenance Manual HARDCOPY consists of 13 Books. (DIN A4 format only) The illustrated parts catalog HARDCOPY consists of 5 Books. (DIN A4 format only) The Wiring Manual HARDCOPY consists of 2 Books (DIN A4 and DIN A3 format) The Airframe Repair Manual consists of 2 Books (DIN A4 format only) The Album of the Production, Operation and Repair Tolerances consists of 1 Book (A4 only) Each Book carries a Lead Page stating its conformity Each Book may contain more than one chapter The Chapter Numbering, except LT, follows ATA Numbering – the numbers may not be consecutive Each Chapter except 90 (supplements) carries a list of effective pages and revision log. The Chapters DO NOT FOLLOW ATA numbering! The original issuance date of the manual was 29 JUN 90. The manual was reissued 30 JAN 99. Revision 0 Dates could be either dates. The current version conforms to revision 1 with an issuance date of 30 JAN 99. The current version of ISSUED DOCUMENTATION BULLETINS dates 30 JAN 99 (Choose your dates – every page should be 29 JUN 90 or 30 JAN 99)

MX is responsible to forward the revisions to QM. QM is responsible to enter the revisions into the Electronic Books. The Revision is entered into the lead document. The notice of revision is placed in the EF. DIN A4 and DIN A3 Originals Some Pages of the Originals were edited in DIN A3 Format. They have been scaled down to DIN A4 Size – for the demands of an electronic book – they can be enlarged using the zoom in function of the Acrobat. Because on that, information on the original page sizing has been added to each description of the particular manual. In the EF a subdirectory for each manual has been established, where these pages are to be found in their original size if demand for their printout in DIN A3 exists. This file also serves as list for these pages.

Scanning Details and electronic specialties including setting of thumbnails The Originals have been scanned black and white using 600 DPI setting and DIN A4, 300 DPI and DIN A3 scanners directly into the ACROBAT version 6. Printout can be facilitated up to 1269 DPI A4, 900 DPI A3 The scaling A3 to A4 is 71%, A4 to A3 is 141% (= standard scaling steps DIN A). Due to the partly poor condition of the pages the ADF (automatic data feeder) did not feed the pages absolutely straight – the pages may be out of level up to 4°. Also – some original pages were up to 5° out of level. (2 pages were 30° off - but - the entire contents is readable) The size of the original pages varies. The exact size (75% of the pages) is not the exact A3 or A4 size. The scanned version corrects that problem. All pages have been checked. They are all in readable condition. After having been scanned an OCR (character recognition) was run for the pages. The results are underliing the visible contents of the pages. This procedure makes its possible TO SEARCH FOR WORDS within the document. Due to the sometimes poor page condition as well as the fonts used, the OCR result is around 65 to 70%. The Thumbnails (Lesezeichen) inserted DO NOT FOLLOW THE BREADTH OF THE TABLE OF CONTENS. They have been placed where deemed necessary. Mostly more thumbnails than entries into the Contents sections - have been inserted. If demand arises Thumbnails may be taken out or more inserted. END OF DOCUMENT
