CLASSROOM VISITORS
Parents and grandparents were invited into the KE and K/1D classrooms on Monday to
assist in a special lesson. The students had been learning about their past and how
things have changed over time. The visitors helped to make timelines for Kindergarten.
They shared stories about the things they liked to do when they were young. The
children were then able to make comparisons with their own lives. The class was
interested in how many things had changes (and how many things had stayed the
same).

Kindy News
KE enjoyed reading ‘The Very Hungry
Caterpillar’ so much that they decided to
perform their own version at school
assembly. Miss Wilks organised the
children, made the props and helped
them to learn their parts. Everyone had
fun!
Cooking in K/1D
K1D are learning how to write procedures. We have been learning how to read and write a recipe. Last week we got to use the recipes
