• How many plan on taking MA• How many plan on taking Math Ready if it is offered• How many are not taking  a math course and what they are taking instead.(no math or college algebra)

MA – one semestser of trig, one semester of “college algebra prep”/ Advanced algebra – if you are pursuing a major that would require additional math beyond college algebra, this would be for you.  MA is a math credit for those pursuing a 4 x 4 plan.

College Ready – In depth, hand on, discovery/technology based application of algebra 2. Lots of group work. Reviews algebra 2 and prepares the student for college algebra.  This course has NO TRIG involved. This course WILL NOT COUNT as a math credit (it will be an elective taught by a math teacher). If you make an A or a B in this course, student will not be required to take any remediation in college, they will be able to roll right into college algebra. Impress upon them the importance of taking math their senior year if they are heading to college!!!!

I need the above information broken down BY SECTION. Please give everyone a piece of paper. Thoroughly explain each option. Then you tally the sheets. This is not binding but I have been asked to predict the unpredictable and this is the best way. Please RESPOND – I GOT THIS as soon as you read it so I know you will get this done today.  If not, I will walk around and tell you to check your email!!!
