WHY SOUTHLAKE SHOULD BE IN YOUR MEDIA PLAN
Southlake lies in the heart of Dallas Fort Worth, located between DFW International Airport to the east and Alliance Airport to the west. As part of one of the fastest growing regions in the nation (DFW), Southlake and neighboring cities compose the larger northeast Tarrant County area. Thanks largely to retail developments and the Carroll Independent School District, Southlake has built a well-known national reputation for offering a strong and healthy local economy and is becoming one of the most sought after business addresses. Recognized by area retailers as a target rich community based on demographics and household growth, it’s a valuable market worth including in your advertising buy.

TOP DOCTORS 2020
op Doctors is a nomination-based project in which we ask physicians in the area to vote for other physicians in various specialties. We ask doctors to vote for doctors who
exemplify excellence in their specialties. This list is a service to readers, giving them a doctor’s perspective regarding the top doctors in 58 specialty areas. The list is intended to allow readers to see and celebrate their physicians who make the list. It gives those seeking medical information a place to see doctors highlighted for achievement and reputation, and it can be a great tool for finding the right doctor for their needs. It can also be a means for doctors to make the community aware of their specific specialties and areas of expertise. To complete this nomination project, 360 West magazine contracted DataJoe
Research to conduct nominations using an online ballot for collecting, vetting, and tallying the votes. DataJoe Research is a survey/research company specializing in data collection and verification. It conducts various nominations across the United States on behalf of publishers. We recognize that there are many good doctors who are not shown in this representative list. This is only a sampling of talented professionals within the region. Inclusion in the list is based on the opinions of responding doctors in the region. We take time and energy to ensure fair voting, although we understand that the results of this survey nomination are not an objective metric. We certainly do not discount the fact that for various reasons many excellent doctors may not appear on the list.

n this year’s BEST OF SOUTHLAKE reader survey we received confirmation that many of you have strong opinions and want to share your insider perspective with others. The BEST OF SOUTHLAKE
2019 survey had more than 1,000 completed ballots, and local businesses received over 11,000 votes in one or more categories. A statistically valid survey at the county-wide level is approximately 500 responses, so to have such a high number of completed ballots from a smaller geographic area like Southlake ensures the accuracy of these picks. To prevent ballot stuffing, readers were only allowed to submit one ballot per email address, and also had to reside in the greater Tarrant County area. In addition, to encourage a broad base of votes in each category, participants who cast votes in 20 or more categories were eligible to receive a $500 grand prize. To be among the
BEST OF SOUTHLAKE winners you had to meet certain criteria. First, you had to have a location in Southlake or, in the case of a service-based business, Southlake had to be part of your service area. You also had to be a top vote-getter in your category. In many categories we are recognizing two winners — both a Readers’ Choice and a Publisher’s Pick. Both winners were top vote-getters in their respective categories. While we congratulate these winners, we recognize that many successful and popular businesses did not make the list. Our area is fortunate to have a variety of choices from which to select and this list is provided as a service to readers who may be new to the area or are looking to branch out and try a new restaurant, service-related business, or other retailer. You’ll find the complete list of 96 winners in 64 categories on the following pages.
