Cold MetalformingMetalforming lubricants affect the overall cost of operation in a multitude ofareas, such as production rate, product quality, die life, disposal,housekeeping, and impact on subsequent processes. Stuart Drawsol®

Lubricants for the Aluminum IndustryStuart’s aluminum lubricants give customers a competitive advantage inthis dynamic and ever changing industry:

Casting LubricantsHEATSHIELD casting lubricants are designed to provide excellent surfacequality when casting aluminum ingots. This matrix of products providesexcellent mold release with low smoking and low odor properties.

Hot Rolling LubricantsAs an industry leader in providing lubricants for hot rolling of aluminum,Stuart offers a broad product selection of tailored formulations forcustomer specific requirements. Stuart offers two families of lubricantsfor these applications: B-SERIES and ALUSHIELD SERIES. Both series ofproducts have been designed to eliminate the need for tank sideadditions of replenishment chemicals to maintain lubricant performance.

Hydraulic FluidsHYDRASHIELD hydraulic fluids encompass a broad line of mineral oilbased, polyol ester based, and fire resistant chemistries. The rangeincludes a variety of viscosities to support the requirements of oxidationresistance, anti-wear, and corrosion inhibition. Also Stuart offers aspecialty design for use in aluminum cold rolling systems that providesvery low staining characteristics in the event of leakage into the coolantsystems.

Cold Rolling LubricantsThe VX SERIES of aluminum cold rolling lubricants are specialty blends ofsynthetic fatty alcohols, esters, and anti-oxidants that provide excellentsurface quality for cold reduced aluminum. The formula compositions areAnheuser Busch flavor approved and meet FDA requirements. Theselubricants can also be provided with Kosher certification.

Postlubes & D & I Can Manufacturing LubricantsCOILSHIELD Postlubes are applied on aluminum sheet for the D&I CanMaking industry. These lubricants are Anheuser Busch flavor approvedand formulated to be compatible with the Stuart ULTRASHIELD and DI-SHIELD can making lubricants.

Casting LubricantsHEATSHIELD mold lubes contain highly refined lubricant base stocks forvery clean operation without build-ups or heavy smoke generation. Theydeliver consistent performance for critical surface at an economicalapplied cost.

Hot Rolling LubricantsOur ROLLSHIELD® products encompass a wide range of chemistriesapplicable to both roll bite and backup roll applications. We provide acomplete program including application equipment and services thatoptimize performance and minimize usage.

Cold Rolling LubricantsWe offer a complete line of cold rolling oils for both light gauge (tinplate)and heavy gauge (sheet) mills. Our ROLLSHIELD® and ROLKLEEN®

products cover the entire range of technology including both emulsionand dispersion chemistries formulated with highly volatile syntheticcomponents for clean annealing.

Pickle Line LubricantsOur ROLKLEEN® and STEELSHIELD pickle line lubricants are based onthe same high quality ingredients as our cold rolling oils, ensuring a highdegree of compatibility and lubricity as well as superior rust and stainprotection.

Temper FluidsWe offer a wide range of technologies, including both water and solvent-based TEMPERSHIELD products. Our solvent-based products areformulated to exhibit high flash points, low misting, and low odorproperties. Our water-based products include formulations containingnitrite and non-nitrite materials and special compositions for galvanize InLine Temper mills.

CleanersMILL CLEAN products encompass a complete line of powder and liquidprocess and maintenance cleaner technology. Our line includes highlyalkaline formulations for electrolytic and non-electro applications. Wehave all the tools necessary to maximize performance while reducing totalprocess cost.

Hydraulic FluidsHYDRASHIELD hydraulic fluids encompass a broad line of mineral oilbased, polyol ester based, and fire resistant chemistries. The rangeincludes a variety of viscosities to support the requirements of oxidationresistance, anti-wear, and corrosion inhibition.
