    Information Literacy Standards

I have taught kindergarten for six years at Bowdon Elementary School. As I was reading

over the Information Literacy Standards, I did not feel that many of them would be applicable tokindergarten students. However, lessons I taught during my student teaching and also

assignments created for other MEDT classes provide good examples of lesson activitiesdemonstrating students using Information Literacy Standards. I was also able find several lessonactivities on the GA frameworks that were applicable to this assignment. This assignment was

very interesting and challenging to me since the majority of my classroom experience is in

kindergarten, but I know that one day I may be able to use these activities when I am a media

    specialist.
