We, diverse members of Holy Cross Parish, seek to build God’s kingdom on earth. United in pray-er, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit and in com-munion with the Roman Catholic Church, we will serve, teach, and evangelize throughout the communi-ty. The Knights of Columbus Council 8493 say thank you for your support during the Fried Fish Fundraising. Unfortunately, it has been canceled due to the corona virus. THE PONTIFICAL GOOD FRIDAY COLLECTION Pope Francis has asked our parish to support the Pontifical Good Friday Collection, which helps Christians in the Holy Land. Your support helps the church minister in parishes, provide Catholic schools and offer religious education. The Pontifical Good Friday Collection also helps to preserve the sacred shrines. The wars, unrest and instability have been especially hard on Christians. In these times of crisis, the Pontifical Good Friday Collection provides humanitarian aid to refugees. Honor the Lord with your wealth and with the first fruits of all your produce; then your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will be bursting with wine. (Proverbs 3, 9-10) We are a parish family and together we thank God for all the support He has given us. Our first fruits have produced an amazing facility in which we can spread God’s word and evan-gelize through our ministries. Now is the time to consider renewing our commitment and making a pledge for 3 more years. If you have not made a pledge, please do so. Please use our website to give through your bank account, credit card or check. If you wish to make a pledge on paper, we will also welcome them in the offertory basket or in the office. These additional pledges and donations totaled $495,000 since September 1, 2019. May God continue to bless your heart and your family.
