La Veta's Art in the Park has been the main event of theJuly 4th weekend for many years. This two-day eventbegins Saturday morning and runs through Sundayafternoon. During this time you will find the Town Parkpacked with handmade arts, crafts, jewelry, apparel,paintings, ceramics, glass, wood items, live music andfood venders.

Both Friday & Saturday evening, La Veta will be hostingthe 4-H Independence Day Ranch Rodeo & Bull Ridingevent. Have you seen a real western rodeo?
