    Todays Speaker

    Elder Joseph Evans, Jr.

    E lder Joseph Evans, Jr. was born in Lansing Michigan in 1981. He waseducated in the Lansing School system, and has attended higher education, wherehe has received several degrees and recognition.

    Elder Evans received the Holy Ghost on February 14, 1996 at the age of 14. Hebegan in ministry month's later, assisting with a Sunday School class at the BreadHouse. In 1998 he ministered his first message, "It's time for preparation", at theage of 16. He has been involved in outreach, children's church, prison ministry, andcampus (college) ministry.

    Elder Evans was ordained as an Elder of the Pentecostal Church's of the Apostolic Faith in 2008, at the age of 28. Elder Evans currently serves as theMichigan State Council Youth President.

    VOLUNTEERS NEEDED for Lansing COGICs CLICK Program,

    which will take place every Wednesday. Each volunteer would only be neededonce throughout the program if enough people sign-up. Please feel free tocontact Sis. Nicole Campbell or Sis. Barb Pryor to volunteer.

    July 28 The following items are needed for the Family Fun Fest and Health Fair:Hygiene Items : deodorant, toothbrushes, toothpaste, lotion, mouthwash, hair

    brushes, combs, shampoo, and bars of soap. School items : hand sanitizers,pens, pencils, erasers, spiral notebooks (hard or soft binders), duo tang papernotebooks, glue sticks, pencil boxes, rulers, scissors, crayons, markers, andcolored pencils. Clothing items : used, serviceable clothing (only accepting new and packaged underwear). Food Items: canned goods, non -perishableitems. ADDITIONAL perishable items such as apples, oranges and grapes

    will be accepted during the week of July 28-August 1. For additional informationand/or drop-off schedule please contact Sis. Vishinski Hosey or Sis. RobbinDuke.

    Its time for a road trip! Bishop Duncan will be ministering at Life LineChristian Church in Detroit and is asking the choir and congregation toaccompany him. There will be a bus available for all those interested inattending, which will depart at 1:30 p.m. Please sign-up at the church newstable.

    You Dont Know MyStory

    The You Dont Know My Story production is calling all MEN! The Lansing COGIC Womens Department would like to include testimonies from men inour production. We know that men have a story to tell as well as women and we

    want to have a balanced production. If you are interested, please submit yourtestimony by May 31, 2013. Please pick-up and fill out the form titled YouDont Know My Story from the church news table and place it in the sealedbox. Please contact Sis. Askew, Sis. Angell, Sis. Garner, Sis. Cooper, or Sis.Stewart if you have any questions.
