• Missed homework/classwork must be made-up within two classes of returning to receive a grade (one class to collect the work and get extra help, second class to show that work has been completed). Most assignments and hand-outs will be posted to the class website and can be printed and extras will be placed in the green hanging files.

• Read the short article on the class website titled “Why do I have to learn this?”• Write a paragraph (at least 10 sentences long) and discuss why math is important in real-life examples.
