ITINERARY: DAY 1: SWAKOPMUND to BRANDBERG From the Ocean and Desert we travel inland through dry and rocky terrain to Namibia’s highest mountain range, Brandberg, with the peak Konigstein at 2579m (8461ft) the highest point. At Brandberg White Lady Lodge situated next to the Ugab River, we might spot the famous desert elephant roaming in the area. We will undertake a sundowner vehicle cruise in the area.

ACCOMMODATION: *SH –Brandberg White Lady Lodge MEALS: Lunch & Dinner DAY 2: BRANDBERG to KAMANJAB We drive past Herero villages on our way to Twyfelfontein Rock Art; we were undertaking a guided walk, exploring the ancient paintings on the rocks. We travel through to the town of Kamanjab, stopping briefly to see the Petrified Forest en route (wood that fossilized into stone 260 million years ago) and the oldest plants in the world, Welwitchia mirabilis. We stay overnight nearby the village of the last traditional tribe in Namibia, the Ova-Himba, thus we will have the opportunity to visit the tribe for in depth insight into the lives, an amazing photographic opportunity ACCOMMODATION: *CH –Kamanjab Rest Camp MEALS: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

D DAY 3 : KAMANJAB to ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK We head towards Etosha National Park for 2 days of game viewing. Our first overnight stop in Etosha will be either at Okaukuejo or Halali, both with a floodlit waterhole allows for 24-hour game viewing. Elephant and black rhinoceros are seen daily during the dry winter months & numerous other game species are also found here, including lion and leopard. ACCOMMODATION: *SH –Etosha: Okaukuejo or Halali MEALS: Breakfast & Lunch DAY 4 : ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK We game drive slowly through the park, gazing in awe at the vast expanse of the Etosha Pan, itself shimmering in the midday heat. Ostrich appear like moving black dots as they wander around miles out in the salt pan. The Namutoni area of Etosha is renowned for its vast herds of plain game in the northern parts and other species found here include lion, leopard, cheetah, giraffe, kudu and the smallest antelope in Namibia, the Damara Dik Dik. ACCOMMODATION:* SH –NWR Etosha: Halali or Namutoni MEALS: Breakfast & Lunch A DAY 5 : ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK to WATEREBRG On our journey through to the Waterberg Plateau Park we will visit the non-profit organization of the Cheetah Conservation Funds, learning more about this fascinating creature and how the organization is helping the cheetah in its natural way. The Waterberg Plateau Park has been set aside for the breeding of rare animal species such as the white and black rhino, sable and roan antelope and the endangered cape vulture. ACCOMMODATION: *SH –NWR Waterberg MEALS: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

DAY 6 : WATERBERG to WINDHOEK An early morning walk up to the Waterberg Plateau will give us fascinating views of the region, before heading back to Windhoek, travelling via Okahandja, stopping at local craft markets. Arriving at lunch time in Windhoek. TOUR ENDS ACCOMMODATION: n/a MEALS: Breakfast
