“Rule number one..” (Stop motions letters spelling the sentence out, we will use fridge magnet letters for this as they are bright and fun)

“is that you gotta have fun. But baby when you’re done,you gotta be the first to run.” ( switch to a storyline of the artists spraying her love interest with silly string and thenrunning away)

“Rule number two..” (use the same stop motion letters as before to create a recurring theme throughout the video)

“ just don't get attached to, somebody you could lose. So le-let me tell you” (These will be lip synced in a stage performance, focusing on the artist and her microphone, the reason for this is because we found out in our research that singer songwriters tend to have an element of performance in their videos.)

Chorus X2 – “This is how to be a heartbreaker. Boys they like a little danger. We'll get him falling for a stranger. A player, singing I lo-lo-love you. How to be a heartbreaker. Boys they like the look of danger. We'll get him falling for a stranger. A player, singing I lo-lo-love you.”(during the chorus we will have a mixture of jump shots from the artists storyline with her love interest, to a white backdrop scene of a group of young people partying and throwing paint around. We are focusing on this storyline as the title clearly indicates it’s about love and due to the fact we have researched our genre and found that singer songwriter’s music tends to be about love. We are also focusing on a party scene because it will keep in sync with the upbeat tempo and give the video an aspect of fun)The paint scene was inspired by Florence and the machines video ‘dog days’

“At least I think I do” (stop motion repeated with the words.)

Instrumental (cut to storyline of the girl and boy, show things such as them laughing and holding hands)

“Cause I lo-lo-lo-love you” (Artist sings this to the boy)

“Rule number three..” (stop motion letters repeated)“Wear your heart on your cheek” (Marina, our chosen artist is often seen to have a love heart drawn on to her cheek, therefore we are going to take a series of photos of our singer’s cheek with different coloured love hearts, this will be created with stop motion and will hopefully look effective)

“But never on your sleeve, unless you wanna taste defeat” (stage performance showing the singer lip syncing)

“Rule number four..” (Stop motion letters repeated)

“gotta be looking pure. Kiss him goodbye at the door, and leave him wanting more, more..” ( cut to storyline of girl and boy saying goodbye to each other at a door, artist kisses him briefly and shuts the door leaving him confused and upset whereas she will have a smug smile on her face, we are hoping to show both characters emotions through a split screen of either side of the door)

“Cause I lo-lo-love you” (jumps to the girl and boy storyline again to the point we left it at, the girl opens the door and sings the lyrics to him)

“Girls, we do, whatever it will take. Cause girls don't want, we don't want our hearts to break in two. So it's better to be fake, can't risk losing. In love again, ba-abe” (jump scenes from a stage performance to the storyline, the storyline will this time be more romantic and the lyrics are softer, therefore the couple will be seen holding hands ect.)
