MAN POWER PLANING
As Apollo being super and multi specialty hospital
number of employees depends not on size of
hospital but on its specialty.
The ratio of bed to employee is 1:6 that is for 1 bednumber of employees needed are 6.
For every 3 bed in general ward , one nurse is
required and for emergency wards such as ICU, IRW
one nurse for one bed.
Nurses and interns works on shift basis in the
hospital.

Around 300 employees which include clinical
and non-clinical staffs are there in eachhospitals.
Non-care staffs are generally outsourced, andin some branch security and good services arealso outsourced.
Paramedical students are recruited for nursingposition after the completion of their studies.
Full utilization of man power are practiced bytraining staffs for non care jobs.
