5 LOVE LANGUAGES OF CHILDREN

How to say “I Love You” without actually saying them

WORDS OF AFFIRMATIONWords are powerful. Pen a note, write a card or simply

have a chat! Express to your child how much he/she

matters to you, praise and encourage them for doing

something good today!

by Gary Chapman

PHYSICAL TOUCHA hug, a kiss, a pat on the head/shoulder/back, sitting close

together or even just holding on to your child's hand for a

moment today would mean a lot to him/her!

QUALITY TIMESet aside deliberate time today and spend it with your

child. With your undivided attention, eat with them, read

with them, play with them, craft something or learn

something new together!

GIFTSOnline shopping time! How about ordering a surprise gift or

some treat for your child today? Regardless big or small, your

child will be very happy to receive something from you as it

shows that you are thinking about them!

ACTS OF SERVICEHelping your child and offering support means a lot to

him/her! That said, you don't have to give in to every request.

Instead, respond to your child's request for help sensitively

and thoughtfully.
