Introduction
Alvarion is proud to announce the GA release of 4Motion 802.16e Customer Premises Equipment (CPE).
The CPEs that are released in this version include BreezeMAX Si 3000 series and BreezeMAX PRO 3000 series at 2.5 and 3.5GHz (PRO 3000 only) frequency bands.
BreezeMAX Si 3000
BreezeMAX Si 3000 is a WiMAX modem, designed for indoor installations, and enables plug and play operation with easy-to-install and self provisioning capabilities. BreezeMAX Si 3000 is available with one 10/100 Base-T ETH port while Voice and Networking capabilities are supported by external gateways.
BreezeMAX PRO 3000
BreezeMAX PRO 3000 is a hybrid WiMAX access unit, comprising an outdoor radio unit (ODU) and an indoor network interface unit (IDU). The ODU contains a modem, radio and an integral antenna.
Equipped with directional outdoor antenna, BreezeMAX PRO 3000 is designed to meet the needs of rural installations at large distances from the base station. BreezeMAX PRO 3000 is available with one 10/100 Base-T ETH port while Voice and Networking capabilities are supported by external gateways. The IDU connects directly to the ODU via a category 5 Ethernet cable that carries the data traffic, power and control signals between the IDU and ODU.

Known Bugs and Limitations
(STR# is an internal Alvarion number for reference)
1. STR17401 – Bridge mode is not supported
2. STR18281 - PHS is not supported
3. STR18394 - Handover is not supported
4. STR19080 – In ND&S (Network Detection and Selection) only pre-defined frequency list is supported. Range Scan and Full Scan are not supported
5. STR18954 – Under firewall settings, “Deny” settings overrides “Allow" settings. To overcome this limitation, the user should define “Deny configuration” first and then define “Allow all” for all other.
6. STR19598 - Web GUI is not accessible after disabling all user accounts (only Operator user can disable all user accounts). In this case the unit should be reset to factory defaults.
7. STR19489 – Quality of Service in Uplink cannot be set by DSCP. It can be set by setting port or IP for traffic separation.
