DISCUSSION OF RESULTS

Records obtained were good to poor quality, generally

poor data was recorded in the northeastern portion of the

survey.

A map, representing estimated top of the Jacobsville,

is presented with this report. An assumed average velocity

of 6000 feet per second was used in computing depth at each

shot point. No well tops are available to the writer at

present. If velocity information is acquired subsequently

in the area, simple linear mathematical corrections can be

applied to bring the data to a more predictable relative

subsurface position.

The objective was to rnap the bottom of tho Jacobsville (or the top of tho

Precambrian Basement), however only ono horizon, the overburden/bedrock interface,

was mapped. Thus the nap represents the top of the bedrock which is tho present-

day top of the Jacobsville formation in the area. ; ; ??v V
