The Best Christmas Pageant Ever was “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever!”

These were the words of Colin Kays as he looked up to his mom! What Colin was saying to his mom was being mumbled throughout the congregation after the children’s presentation of the “Best Christmas Pageant Ever” Sunday night! I remember first reading this book in the 1970’s and falling in love with it. But nothing could compare to seeing our children perform Sunday night! I cried through most of the performance, as I thought of how many little Herdmans had come through the doors of Sand Spring and other churches I have attended. Their faces ran through my mind as I watched the play. I was reminded of how simple and amazing the Christmas story really is! Thanks you Jenny Kays, Kelly Reynolds, and our amazing children for blessing our hearts!!

Birthday Party For Jesus Wednesday, December 15th is our Birthday Party For Jesus. It starts at 7:00 p.m. and lasts till 7:45 p.m. It will be a time of games, food, crafts, and most of all of reflecting what Christmas is all about! Happy in Him! Diana

My goodness what a blessing we all received from the wonderful presentation last night from our children’s choir! I was so impressed with the children and all the lines they had to memorize and the professional way the presented each and every line. And the singing was superb! Thanks to all the children, and parents for all the time that was spent learning lines and practicing. Thanks to Jenny Kays and Kellie Reynolds for all their hard work! You can catch the replay of this on channel 6; Mon. – Fri. at 4:00 PM, Thursday and Friday at 10:00 AM, and Friday at 10:00 PM.

This coming Sunday at 7:00 PM JoySong and the JuBELLant Ringers Will present “The Gift at the Manger” a Christmas Concert.
