Basic Membership •  Tier 2 API w/OAuth authentication

•  Create ORCID records and deposit data into ORCID on behalf of employees, students, or affiliated individuals

•  Serve as default trusted parties or delegated managers for the records they create

•  Receive daily alerts for changes to public data in records they created or that have been explicitly shared by an individual

Basic Membership •  Access to non-public data where individuals have given

permission or member is delegated manager

•  Access a biannual data file of ORCID public data

•  Enter nominations for the ORCID Board

Premium Membership •  All of the benefits of Basic membership

•  Ad hoc access to ORCID public and explicitly shared data, including automated bulk queries and update services
