SARINA SHOW 2019 SECTION 6: CAGED BIRDS

Regulations and Conditions of Entry:

1. Entry Fee must accompany the completed Entry Form.

2. STICKERS for each Cage shall be fixed to the bottom left hand corner of show

box

3. No other numbers or markings shall appear on the Cage.

4. All Entries must be the Bona Fide property of the Exhibitor on the date of entry.

5. Borrowing BIRDS for show purposes or sales for limited periods will render both

parties liable for disqualification

6. Any birds having a defect or sick, shall be removed from the bench by the Chief

Steward/Judge

7. Any bird entered in the wrong class may be changed by the Chief Steward or

Judge.

8. During the Show, all exhibits shall be in custody of the Chief Steward & shall not

be touched or handled by the owner or any person under any pretext what so

ever.

9. The Judge may withhold any prize to any exhibit which he/she considers

unworthy of an award.

10. Waivers must be signed and handed back to the Chief Steward.

11. Show cages are to be of standard where possible.

12. Drinkers on the left hand side between 4th & 5th Wire.

14. Entries will be accepted on the day

15. Benching at 7am – 8am Saturday 3rd August 2019. Judging will commence at

9.00am on Saturday.

15. Exhibits can be re-claimed after 2.00pm on Sunday 4th August 2019.

16. Over 20 birds – 1 free pass; Over 40 – 2 free passes.


17. Pet Birds are to be entered in their own clean cages, with the name of the bird &

the childs’ Christian name clearly displayed on the cage.

18. All cages must have ample supply of seed and water for the duration of the

show and be clean.

19. Entries are accepted entirely at the owners risk.

20. Champion Bird of Section – only to be awarded if 5 or more birds are entered in

the section.

21. Champion Pair of Show – to be selected from all section winners, entered as

pairs in show.

Reserve Champion pair – only to be awarded if more than 5 pairs in class.

All Prize money to be collected by the end of August. Any prize money not collected will be donated back to The Sarina Show

Society. .

I authorize any official connected with the Event to call for veterinary inspection of the birds/pigeons in my care should they show signs of any respiratory illness and I agree to pay any fees associated with that veterinary inspection.

7. Acknowledge that by participating in the events it may involve a real risk of serious injury or even death from varies causes. I accept all risks necessarily flowing from participating in the events.

8. Consent to receiving any medical treatment including ambulance transportation that event organisers think desirable as required during the Sarina show.

9. State that the information provided by me is accurate and complete. 10. As a condition of my entry into the above mentioned competition, I hereby acknowledge that I compete at my own risk and that I am

aware that activities involving animals can be hazardous and that the Sarina Show Society Inc accepts no responsibility or liability for any injury or loss that I might sustain as a direct or indirect consequence of the activities of the competition whether such injury is a consequence of any act or omission by the Sarina Show Society Inc and/or their servants, agents, representatives or volunteers.

On the basis of these conditions I hereby indemnify them again all liability (including liability for their negligence, my negligence and the negligence of others) for all injury, loss or damage (including property damage) arising out of or in connection with my participation in this event to the fullest extent permitted by law but only to the extent that they are not already indemnified or insured.
