When you think of the members of the U.S. Air Force, what comes to mind? For many of us, we often think about courage and patriotism, as these valiant individuals dedicate their lives to serving our country and keeping us safe every day. The men and women of the U.S. Air Force also represent a number of other important core values such as hard work, service before self and excellence in all they do. In this public service campaign, country music star Aaron Tippin has teamed up with the U.S. Air Force to convey a variety of timely, positive messages to help us achieve our goals and live in a healthy and productive way. As airtime permits, we hope that you will air our latest public service announcements (PSAs) featuring Aaron Tippin titled "Say Yes" (:30),"Thank You" (:30), "Work Hard" (:30) and "Stay Fit" (:30). These PSAs encourage young people to "Say Yes" to a drug-free life, emphasize the importance of thanking service men and women for their sacrifices, and urge us to work hard to achieve our goals and stay active and healthy to perform at our best. Additionally, the PSA titled "Differences" (:30) featuring country music group Lady Antebellum celebrates the unique diversity of our country and the importance of putting aside our differences to work together. We hope you will air these PSAs, which have no end date for use, as soon and as often as possible. If your station is currently airing these PSAs, we thank you for your support and ask that you please keep them in rotation. If your station previously aired the PSAs or has not had an opportunity to do so, we ask that you please consider airing them at your earliest possibility. I know it can be hard to say no to your friends but when it comes to drugs, there’s no other way. Even prescription or over the counter drug abuse can prevent you from achieving your goals. But it didn’t get there overnight. There were a lot of long days and nights of working just to make ends meet. Good things in life don’t always come easy, but when you sweat for what you want, it makes it even sweeter when you get it.
