The optoelectronical instruments TESA-Scanoffer the perfect solution for quick andcontactless measuring of rotation-symmetricparts. Several measuring methods, such asused e.g. with projectors and measurementmicroscope, are now combined in an singlemeasuring instrument. TESA offers a completerange of products for workpieces with diame-ters from 0,3 mm - 80 mm and a length up to500 mm.

Thread measurementsExternal threads are important geometricalelements of rotation-symmetrical parts. It canbe very difficult to measure them correctly.This is not true for the TESA-Scan, becausethese instruments determine the real profile ofany thread profiles. A measuring slide table(with TESA-Scan 50 Plus and TESA-Scan 80Plus swivelling around the pitch angle) fullyshows the actual profile, the groove of thethread, and the pitch, even for worm threads.

ApplicationCan be used for inside measurements, and as aparallel scriber and special divider.
