Prior to joining the ILO, she worked atthe Iran-US Claims ribunal in Te Hague.

A Barrister at Law and Solicitor, Cleo is a Member o the Inner emple, Inns o Court inthe United Kingdom. She holds a Master o Laws rom the University o the West Indies; aMaster in International Law rom the Graduate Institute o International Studies andUniversity o Geneva; and a Doctorate in International Law rom the same institutions.

Captain Brian A. McAllister is the principal owner and Charansportation Company, Inc., ounded by his great-grandathe

with a single sail lighter.Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Brian graduated rom a BS in Marine Engineering and a 3rd Assistant Engineers licenNavy, becoming Executive Ocer aboard the LS 880, and thenIsbrandtsen Lines as 3rd Assistant Engineer.

In 1959, Brian joined the amily company, working in the deck and erries and ultimately obtaining a Masters license with unliserviced by McAllister. In 1974, ten years afer coming ashore aCaptain, Brian and other members o the ourth generation purpredecessors. oday, McAllister owing and ransportation is omarine towing and transportation companies, operating an extthe major ports on the US East Coast.

Brian and his wie, Rosemary, have two children, Buckley and Eric,

In his 42-year career with the American Bureau o Shipping ABS, Robert Bob Somerville has heldincreasingly senior positions, starting as a eld surveyor in 1970 and progressing to President and CEO

in 2004. oday, Bob serves as Chairman o both ABS and the ABS Group o Companies. He holds thedistinct position in ABSs history as the longest serving executive in the roles o President andChairman.

During his tenure, Bob helped achieve several notable accomplishments including growing the ABSeet rom just under 100 million gross tons to nearly 200 million gross tons; participating in thedevelopment and acceptance o Common Structural Rules or tankers and bulk carriers in order toimprove vessel lie cycle and saety; and expanding ABSs ongoing academic scholarship andinrastructure programs with unding to maritime academic centers around the world.

Bob, an active member o many proessional associations, has received numerous awards in recognitiono his contributions to maritime saety, including an induction into the International Maritime Hall oFame at the United Nations in 2006. A graduate o the Harvard Business Schools AdvancedManagement Program and a Fellow o SNAME, he has received an honorary Doctorate o Science romMaine Maritime Academy and an honorary Doctorate o Commercial Science rom the Webb Institute.

Bob and his wie Kathy have two children, Kathleen and Robert, and three grandchildren.
