JAMMU: A woman was assaulted by her husband and brother-in-law in Janipur area onTuesday.
As per the details, Neeru Hans, wife of Vikas Hans, resident of Subhash Nagar lodged apolice complaint that she was assaulted by her husband and brother-in-law Vishal Hans, sonof Pardeep Kumar, resident of Bakshi Nagar over a family issue.
Meanwhile, Janipur police also registered a similar case against Veer Singh, resident ofKishtwar presently staying at Janipur on the complaint of Raj Mohammad, son of AhmedDin, resident of Raipur Domana. Police has started investigation in both the cases.

JAMMU: A bodies of two newly born babies were found in Janipur and Miran Sahib locali-ties on Tuesday.
As per the details, on seeing a body of an infant lying near Shivalikpuram in Janipur, localsinformed the police which reached the spot and shifted the same to mortuary. Police has reg-istered a case and started investigation.
Meanwhile, locals found a body of an infant in an abandoned house in Miran Sahib andinformed the police which took it into custody and started investigation.

REASI: Three persons got injured after the car they were travelling hit a tanker in Bhamblaarea in Reasi on Tuesday while two others were injured in Kunjwani.
According to a report, a car which was on its way to Jammu met with a tanker coming fromopposite direction near Bhambla resulting into injuries to three members of family travellingin the car. The injured have been identified as Shabir Ahmed, son of Gulam Hussain, residentof Gunthal; his wife Shagufta and daughter Sumber Shabir. They were shifted to hospital.
In another incident, a car turned turtle near Kunjwani in which Rohit, son of Bodh Raj, res-ident of Gajansoo and Shakeel, daughter of Dalbeer resident of Kunjwani got injured.

JAMMU: Gandhi Nagar Police arrested a fraudster which was making fake Identity Cardsof CISF here on Tuesday.
As per the details, a man approached a shopkeeper Shashi Kohli, resident of Nanak Nagarwith a letter for preparing 50 Identity Cards of CISF. Sensing suspicion, the aforesaid shop-keeper called the IG whose name was mentioned in the sample card.
The concerned officer disclosed that the sample letter is bogus. Upon this, the shopkeeperinformed the police, which arrested the accused.
He disclosed that he used to take loans on fake Identity cards. Police has registered a caseand started investigation. The accused has been identified as Manmohan Singh, residentof Digiana.

STATE TIMES NEWSJAMMU: MLC Ch Vikram Randhawa on Tuesday dedicatednewly installed 100 KVA transformer at Gurudwara Sahib,Govindpura of Gandhi Nagar Constituency along withMahant Manjeet Singh Ji.
While addressing the public, Randhawa said that it was thelong pending demand of the public as the locals were ruingunscheduled power cuts following load shedding. He said theproblem was brought to his notice and he immediatelyreleased Rs 5.5 lakh out of his Constituency DevelopmentFund (CDF) for the installation of the new transformer.
Randhawa expressed satisfaction over the installation of thenew transformer as the exams of the children are approachingnear and the students were worst sufferers due to unsched-uled power cuts as they were worried about the preparation oftheir examinations.
Randhawa said that he is committed to carry forward theequitable development of the Gandhi Nagar and Jammuprovince irrespective of caste, colour and creed. He said thatbeing a BJP leader he would carry forward the slogan of thePrime Minister Narendra Modi 'Sabka Sath Sabka Sath' tothe doorsteps of the public.

STATE TIMES NEWS UDHAMPUR: Army has been undertaking number of projects forthe empowerment and skill development of youth of the State ofJammu and Kashmir. In another such initiative to help hone thevocational skill of youth, the Indian Army conducted a plumbingcadre for youth from February 11 to 26, 2019 at village Mahogala ofRajouri district. A total of 10 youth from village Mahogala attendedthe cadre, in which, besides theoretical classes, emphasis was laid onpractical training with an aim to adequately equip youth in the art ofplumbing and thereby enabling them to secure suitable jobs or setuptheir own facility. Speaking on the occasion, Sarpanch of the villageMahogala, on behalf of the locals, conveyed his appreciation and grat-itude towards the Army for taking up this initiative for the youth offar flung villages. He mentioned that the professional skills that willbe imparted to the youth during the training would enable them toearn a livelihood, thereby improving their quality of life.
