3.5 mm Low Profile Pelvic System

The 3.5 mm Low Profile Pelvic System is intended for pelvicand acetabular reconstructive surgery and fracture fixation of the distal humerus, clavicle and scapula.

It is composed of four main elements:

– Low profile reconstruction and pubic symphysis plates

– Instruments for plate and screw fixation

– Retraction instruments

– Reduction instruments

ImplantsThe 3.5 mm Low Profile Pelvic System features a wide range of redesigned, stainless steel plates in a variety of precontoured shapes, including:– Straight reconstruction plates (standard, wide angle

and locking versions available)

– Curved reconstruction plates (standard only, 88 mm and 108 mm radius of curvature)

– J-shaped reconstruction plates (standard and locking, left and right versions available) to fit the pelvic brim

– Pubic symphysis plates

Instruments The instrument range is specifically designed to improvefunction with 3.5 mm low profile reconstruction plates.

Instruments for plate and screw fixation– Bending pliers and irons allow simplified and uniform

three-dimensional bending of the plates

– Bending templates support visualization of the final plate shape and facilitate plate bending away from the operative field

– The ratcheting screwdriver handle, due to its size andanatomical shape, simplifies the insertion of long screws.It also features a 3-way ratchet mechanism (forward,locked and reverse) which minimizes glove wind-up and reduces the risk of slipping

– The large handle with quick coupling simplifies screw insertion

Retraction instruments– Provide more options to aid the surgeon with

the chosen approach

– A range of Hohmann, blunt, spoon shaped, sciatic nerve and malleable retractors are available

– Hohmann retractors are available in both stainless steel and aluminum

Reduction forceps – A wide range of forceps ergonomically designed

to reduce weight and improve function
