Verse 1a. O Lord, my alotted portion and my cup,b. You who it is who hold fast my lot.c. I set the Lord ever before me;d. with him at my right hand I shall not be disturbed.

Verse 2a. Therefore my heart is glad and my soul rejoices,b. my body too, abides in confidence;c. because you will not abandon my soul to the netherworld,d. nor will you suffer your faithful one to undergo corruption.

Verse 3a. You will show me the path to life,b. fullness of joys in your presence,d. the delights at your right hand forever.
