you can’t make anything, we ask you to contribute $10.
**Please note: No Baked Goods are made here for this
sale. We depend on and need your baked goods.
As a reminder bakery sales will not be allowed prior to 2:00
on Saturday, November 23. We are blessed to have a variety
of vendors coming. Please support them. Thank you for
your support.
Tupperware has offered us a special promotion on a limited
amount of product from now until Dec. 1. The Rosary Society
will get 40% of sales. There will be no shipping
charges. Material explaining will be available in back of
church & at bake sale. Items will be available for pick up at
the church before/after masses closer to Christmas.
ATV Raffle
As you saw in the picnic report which was published a couple
weeks ago, the ATV raffle generates the most money at our
picnic. We are once again looking for donors for an ATV for
the 2020 “Event in Bevent” (cost approx. $7,000). Donations
of either $1,000 or $500 will secure a spot for your name/
business on the ticket. We need to apply for the raffle license
6 months before the picnic. If you would be willing to help us
purchase an ATV for our 2020 picnic, please call the rectory
by Jan. 1. Thank you for your help.
Maybe someone in your family or a friend who grew up out
here would be willing to help us out. We have many former
parishioners who are now successful business owners who
might be willing to help. Would you be willing to ask them?
Or let us know and we will be happy to contact them.
Food Pantry
Just a reminder, we are always collecting items for the food
pantry. During this season of Thanksgiving please share
NONPERISHABLE and NOT EXPIRED items.
Let's make this season bright for all. Items can be left at
either church entrance. Share what you would like to get and
avoid cleaning out your cabinets of expired items.
Thank you

Recognize God in Everyday Moments
We Are Called to Be Saints
Catholics often are drawn to saints due to their profession,
hobbies, or ethnic background. One’s patron saint serves as
an example of how to live a life of holiness and service to
God. We hold up the saints of the Church in high regard.
However, we can sometimes make the mistake of seeing
them as the subject of stories in print and not real living
people. We can assume that their level of devotion and
holiness is unattainable. In fact, we are all called to be
saints.
Our world needs more living saints living out their
stewardship in a radical manner. Stories are valuable, but
when others get to see disciples of Jesus Christ answering
their call in person, consider the impact. There is a reason
why lay witnessing is so important in cultivating a
stewardship culture in a parish community. The people we
can see and hear are alive right in front of us. Some will say
that to truly be humble means to act anonymously, but we
are not speaking here of actions that call out, “Look at me!”
We are talking about acting in a way that people see not you
and me, but Jesus instead.
We are to be models and examples to one another. We are
to build up one another and make the Body of Christ strong.
Don’t sit back wishing you had the strength to be a saint.
You have already been given the gifts needed to be the saint
you are called to be. Maybe people will read about you later,
but the Church needs you now! (Tracy Earl Welliver ©LPi)

Diocese of La Crosse Guidelines for
Reporting Instances of Child Abuse
The Diocese of La Crosse, through its policies and proce-
dures, seeks to provide a prompt, appropriate and compas-
sionate response to reporters of sexual abuse of a child by
any diocesan agent (bishop, priest, deacon, employee, reli-
gious, vendor or volunteer). Anyone wishing to make a re-
port of an allegation of sexual abuse should send that re-
port to Mrs. Karen Becker, Complaint Intake Agent, at the
Diocese of La Crosse, P.O. Box 4004, La Crosse, WI 54602-
4004. Alternatively, you can contact Mrs. Becker at
608.791.0179 or [email protected]. The reporting
form is available through the Diocese of La Crosse Office of
Safe Environment or on the diocesan website at: diolc.org/
safe-environment/reporting. Individuals are also encour-
aged to take their reports directly to civil authorities. Copies
of the diocesan policy are available through your local par-
ish and on the diocesan website. If you have any questions
about the Diocese of La Crosse and the implementation of
the Charter for the Protection of Children and Young Peo-
ple, please contact Teresa Brown, Diocese of La Crosse, at

Gratitude Examine
Gratitude is one of the greatest spiritual practices. It
opens our minds, calms our hearts, and rids bitterness
of it’s power. The “examen” is a spiritual practice to
reflect on how we have responded to God’s work in our
lives. This Thanksgiving, consider your own reasons for
thankfulness!
What Gifts have You given me?
How have I Received love from others?
How is grace at work in Aspects of my life story?
Do I Trust You to continue to bless me?
Where have I missed Your movements?
Have I used my Talents at the service of other?
Do I see a purpose for my life Underway?
How can I have the Discipline to
thank You daily?
Help me give Everything
