    1081 GENERAL PROVISIONS:

    1081.01 EVERY EMPLOYER:1. Shall at his own expense furnish his

    the eyes, face, hands and feet, protectiveshields and barriers whenever necessaryby reason of the hazardous nature of theprocess or environment, chemical orradiological or other mechanical irritantsor hazards capable of causing injury orimpairment in the function of any part ofthe body through absorption, inhalationor physical contact.

    All protective equipment shall be of approved designand construction appropriate for the exposure and thework to be performed.

    1081.03The employer shall be responsible for the adequacyand proper maintenance of personal protectiveequipment used in his workplace.

    No person shall be subjected or exposed to hazardous

    environmental condition without protection.
