Scott Hahn to Join Emmaus Institute for April 18 Free Webinar—Guest speaker and noted Cath-olic author, Dr. Scott Hahn will join the teaching staff of the Emmaus Institute for Biblical Studies for a free, two-hour, collaborative webinar on Satur-day, April 18, 9:00-11:00 a.m. CST. In a live, conversational format they will engage the topic of how to live by faith in a time of fear, under the webinar title: “Fear not, for I am with you”: God’s Presence in Times of Crisis. To access the webinar link, please go to the Em-maus website at www.emmausinstitute.net, or simply visit the Emmaus Institute account on Face-book or YouTube at the time of the event. Celebrate Divine Mercy Sunday (April 19) with an afternoon of at-home live-stream reflections (www.goodcounselretreat.com) by Fr. John Rooney, that will help you to be immersed in the bountiful ocean of God's mercy. The reflections are at 1:00 and 2:00 pm, with silent time for reflection after each talk. Then join the Seminarians of the diocese at 3:00 pm (the Hour of Mercy) for a preached Holy Hour and Divine Mercy devotions.

In his three talks, Fr. Rooney will teach the mes-sage of Divine Mercy using the ABC’s of Mercy: A - Ask for His Mercy. Jesus is constantly offering us His love and mercy. He never tires of waiting for us to ask for forgiveness, as he extends forgiveness for all of our sins. B - Be merciful. God wants us to receive His mercy and let it flow through us to others. Jesus asks us to show mercy and forgiveness to others: to our families, co-workers, friends, & even to ourselves. C - Completely trust in Jesus. God wants us to know that the graces of His mercy are dependent upon our trust. The more we trust in Jesus, the more we will receive, and we can find a peace that no one else can give. This live-stream is sponsored by Our Lady of Good Counsel Retreat House. Free-will donations are accepted on the website.

Annual Diocesan Charity & Stewardship Ap-peal (CSA) is being conducted entirely by mail. The CSA cards have been sent to many of our parishioners. “Faith in the resurrection of Jesus says that there is a future for every human being; the cry for unending life which is a part of the person, is indeed answered. God exists: that is the real message of Easter. Anyone who even begins to grasp what this means also knows what it means to be redeemed.” Pope Benedict XVI
