Introduction The focus of this document is to report the results from a series of environmental and mechanical tests. The tests were conducted on the multimode LC No Polish Connector (NPC). This connector has a mechanical splice with a factory polished ferrule and is intended for field termination.

Product Description

The connectors were assembled and terminated in the Communication Markets Division fiber lab at 3M. The fiber used was a standard multimode 50um 900um buffered fiber. Connectors were divided into five test groups. Group 1 Group 2 Group 3 Group 4 Group 5 Low Temperature
