Greasers become hero?by: Shingo Narita
In October 11,1960, Wanted criminals
name ponyboy Curtis and johnny Cade
rescued preschool students from a burning
church. They are from the hoods or precisely
Greasers,these two greasers were wanted
for murder or precisely one of them killed a
teenager named Bob Sheldon. When police
came to research about this murder,they went
to question Curtis and Cades friends, person
they went to was Dally Winston. The police
had asked him if he know where Curtis and
Cade went to hide, Winston stated that both o
them fled to texas, however that wasnt true.
Winston lied to the police to hide Curtis and
Cade and specifically told them to hide at
Windrixville Oklahoma, top of the Jay mountai
there was an abandoned church so he told
them to hide there.
Before this murdering incident there was a
problem between Socs and greasers, caused
the murder incident to occur. It all started when
Dally Winston,Ponyboy Curtis and Johnny
Cade went to drive in movie and picked up
Socs girls sherri Valance and Marcia.On way
their to home they offered them a ride,but Soc
comes for them and pick a fight against the
greasers,however Sherri Valance interrupt the
fight because one of the Socs are her boy
friend Bob Sheldon and she hates fighting.
After that Curtis said he wanted to smoke and
watch the star so Cade and him went to the
field and fell asleep. When they woke up the
stars moved and he realized he was late to his
house so he talked to Cade and went home,
when he arrived Darry Curtis Ponyboy Curtis
was furious, so furious that Darry Curtis hit
Ponyboy Curtis after he got hit and he run
away from the house he went back to Cade
and woke him up and ran to the park. Suddenl
blue mustang came and loudly honked the car
horn and five socs came out and it was Bob
Sheldon and his buddy Randy. They
approached Cade and Curtis and they were
cursing at each other when Curtis spit on him
the fight begun, Curtis were drowned inside th
fountain and Cade was getting beat up, Curtis
couldnt breathe and he was close to losing
conscious, but suddenly he was lying on the
ground and so was Cade and Bob, but Bob
was breeding. They went to Winston for help
and got the escape plan, and escaped to
Windrixville top of the mountain abandoned
church.
The first morning of their life inside the
abandoned church started on late afternoon,
the first thing he notice was Cade wasnt
there and soon he realized he panicked,but
then he caught sight of some crooked
lettering written. The next 4-5 days were the
longest days Ive ever spent in my life Curtis
said when he was just about to sleep from a
great distance you could hear a long whistle
that went off in a sudden high note. It was
Winston that visited them after they met all of
them agreed to get lunch. The church was
already burning when they came back. Thechurch was burning there
were a lot of
bystanders. Suddenly one lady came up
running and she said jerry some kids are
missing . Around that time people heard fain
yell inside the church,without any hesitation
Curtis and Cade went in to save the kids.
Inside the church smoke filled up around him
and it made him cough the kids were in the
back all Curtis and cade threw the kids
outside gently as he could. While rescuing
those kids Winston was standing outside of
the building with the crowds and when
Winston saw him he yelled For petessake , get outta
there!,Curtis said I wish I
could take off Dallys jacket it was hot after
they dropped the last kid cade shoved him to
the window and said getout. curtis heard
Cade scream when he just got out and he
tried to go back in for him, but Curtis was
knocked out by Winston.

The three greasers Curtis,Cade and
Winston were sent to the hospital after saving
kids from church. During on the ambulance
Curtis woke up he saidwhere..? there was
jerry with him. After the incident Curtis found
out that hes back was on fire and thats was
why Wingston knocked him out, it turns out
that Cade have a broken back and severe burn
and winston burned his one arm pretty badly
when trying to drag Cade from the building.
When Curtis,Cade and Winston arrived at the
hospital there were Ponyboy Curtis brothers
Darry Curtis and Sodapop Curtis. They willsoon find out that
this three brothers doesn't
have a parent. Due to this incident Ponyboy
Curtis could be sent to boys home.
