29th Annual Strategies in Primary Care MedicineSeptember 22-23, 2011, Holiday Inn Metrodome, Minneapolis

Dear Colleague:

We invite you to attend our annual Strategies in Primary Care Medicine conference. Our theme this year is: “What Every Specialist Would Like Their Primary Care Provider to Know.” We have an action packed program with many medical and surgical specialties to help you fine-tune and update your practice.

We know that your CME time is valuable. When organizing this conference, we developed take-aways that will assist you in your every day practice. By bringing you some of our brightest consultants, we hope to create dialogue that will improve flow of patients between primary care and specialty medicine. The conference offers many venues for learning.

Highlights include: • Joint injections skills course • Keynote speaker, Dr. Ruth Lynfield on “Judicious Use of Antibiotics” • Medical update clusters to include topics on endocrinology, hematology, gynecology, neurology, pulmonary, renal, and rheumatology • Surgical update cluster to include topics on spine, urologic and vascular conditions • Palliative care panel • Special cluster on provider well-being, highlighting lifestyle and work/life balance • New “Book Club” • Recertification for CPR • Maintenance of Certification: Hospital Medicine, 2011 Update • Interactive Audience Response System to include question and answer sessions

We hope you can join us in September!
