HABITSSUCCESS AND HAPPINESS
Time-Block – Block specific
time for email, social media
and internet browsing.
Visualize – Take a few
moments to visualize your
future self and goals realized.
Daily Review – Recap your
day. Take time to reflect and
make a note of lessons learned.
Exercise – Increase your
health by exercising for at
least 30 mins/day.
Unplug – Turn off electronics
(phone, tv, etc.) regularly and
at least 30min before bed.Reading – Read (at least 10
pages) of a positive-minded
book to remain growth-focused.
Healthy Choice – Choose
healthy foods and eat at least
one serving of healthy fruits
and veggies each day.
Sleep – For a healthier heart,
get 7-8 hours of sleep each
night.
Kindness – Perform a daily
random act of kindness. It helps
decrease stress & anxiety.
Wake Up! – Wake up earlier.
It adds time to your day and
helps productivity.
Celebrate – Ask yourself
what went well today and
celebrate small victories.
Water – Stay hydrated! Drink
a minimum of 64oz of water
each day.
Journal – Take a few moments
to journal daily to empty your
feelings and emotions on paper.
Appreciation – Reach out so
someone and let them know
how much you appreciate them.
Affirm – Repeat positive
affirmations for how you what
feel, be or do.
Watch – Take a few minutes to
find and watch an inspirational
video.
Purpose – Review and
reconnect with your purpose
daily.
Review Goals – Build the
habit of reviewing your goals
daily. Stay on track!
Laugh – Have a good laugh
daily! It increases endorphins
and improves your mood.
Time Wasters – Say no more
often to guard against time
wasters and eliminate
distractions.
Listen – Listen to a motivation
podcast episode each day. If
you learn something, put it
into practice.
Task List – Get organize and
unclutter your mind by using a
task list to plan your day.
Stretch – Maintain your
flexibility and keep joints
flexible by stretching daily!
Gratitude – Express 3 things
you are grateful for each day.
Network – Have a
conversation or network with
someone positive and
encouraging.
Idea Dump – Take time to
write down ideas you can put
into action at a later time.
Quality Time – Spend quality time
with your loved ones. Even if just
for a moment, make it a priority.
Meditation – Relax, unwind
and clear your mind. Meditate
for at least 10 minutes.
One of the principles of self-improvement is creating habits that contribute to your growth. Achieving your overall goals and growing into the person you want to become is largely limited by your own level of thinking, your personal growth, and your daily habits.
