REFLECTIONS FROM THE DIARY OF ST. FAUSTINA
THE SPIRITUAL GUIDE OF SOULS
Jesus: “The very inner depths of My being are filled to overflowing with mercy, and it is being
poured out upon all I have created. My delight is to act in a human soul and to fill it with My mercy and to justify it. My kingdom on earth is My life in the human soul. I Myself am the spiritual guide of souls and I guide them indirectly through the priest, and lead each one to sanctity by a road
known to Me alone (Diary, 1784).

RESPECT LIFE SUNDAY
As we celebrate Respect Life Sunday today, we are reminded that the assaults on human dignity come in
many forms. The Respect Life Office is charged with deepening our already strong commitment to pro-life activities and parish education. Please support this
vital work through participation in the special Respect Life envelope collection. Half of the collection stays
right here to support our local Respect Life group (Peconic Respect Life). Your prayers and assistance
are greatly appreciated.

THANK YOU…
My deepest gratitude to all who helped bring the live drama “Maximilian—Saint of Auschwitz” to St.
Isidore. I asked and you answered willingly. It takes many people to pull off a show as detailed as this. I
thank those who helped promote it by handing out the posters and spreading the word. I thank the “stage crew” who spent many hours setting up as well as breaking down and to those who prepared the fine
desserts and making the downstairs so welcoming. I thank those who helped with the product table and ticket sales and the confirmandi who stuffed and handed out the programs. To all of you, I deeply thank you for your “yes” and may God bless this
parish family of St. Isidore.
