About the Conference
The MARIM Risk Management Conference 2017 will be held at Le Meridien Hotel, Putrajaya on 26 &
27 July 2017. This Conference is organized by the Malaysian Association of Risk and Insurance
Management (MARIM). The theme of the conference is ‘RISK & RESILIENCE IN A VUCA WORLD’. The
conference is expected to bring together 150 risk professionals, researchers and academics from the
Asia-Pacific region to discuss issues pertaining to emerging risks and other risks affecting the
industries. Presentations by these experts will bring the audience to the latest and up to date
situations of the challenges and ideas to prepare for the uncertainties.
Conference Objectives To evaluate issues and challenges for organizations/businesses in the current VUCA world
To discuss strategies in mitigating new emerging risks
To provide a forum for the exchange of views and experiences of those engaged in risk
management.
