Ifmorethan40to50players,MGTOCwillbeinstitutingacutlineinbothgrossandnetscore.Theofficialcutwillbefinalizedattheendofthesecondday,dependingonhowplayersaredoingasthetournamentprogresses.Thosewhodonotmakethecutcanparticipateinthecompetitioninscrambleformatonthethirddaywiththeirpartnerofchoice***Iflessthan40participants,theMGTOCwillrestrictthetournamenttojustforthreedaysandtherewillnotbeanycut.Winnerswillbedecidedbasedonthetotalscoreingrossandnet.***Ifyoucannotfindapartner,pleaseinformtheMGTOCinordertoorganizepartnersbasedonadrawwithavailablepartners.

• Ascramblemeansthatallfourteammembersteeoffoneachholeandthendecidewhichteeshottheylikethebestandmarkthespotwithateeorballmarker.

• Theotherteammemberspickuptheirballsandplacethemwithinoneclublength(noclosertothehole)ofthemarkedspot.Eachteammemberhitstheirnextshotfromthechosenspotofthepriorshot.

• Thisprocedureisfollowedoneveryshotfortheremainderofthehole,includingputts.Theballshouldbemarkedontheputtinggreenalso.

• Puttsneedtobemadewithin3inchesofthemarkedspot(noclosertothehole).Thefirstballtogointheholeiscountedfortheteamscore.

• Iftheballyouchoosetoplayisinahazard(sand,water,etc.),therough,oroutofbounds,youcannotdroptheballoutsideofthehazardorroughevenifreliefiswithinoneclublengthaway.

• Eachteammustuseatleastoneofeachteammembersteeshotsoneachnine(minimumtwoteeshotsperplayer).

ClosesttothePin:(Hole#ToBeDetermined).IfyourteeshotisclosesttothePin/Hole,writeyournameonthemarkercardandplacethemarkerinthegroundonthespotwhereyourballcametorest.Oncethemarkerhasbeenplacedintheground,itshouldstaythereuntilsomeoneelsehitsaclosershot.Usetheflagstickasameasuringrodifitisaclosecall.Then,thatpersonshouldrepeattheprocedureofwritingtheirnameonthecardbelowtheothername(s)andplacethemarkeratthespot.LongestDrive:(Hole#ToBeDetermined).Ifyourdriveisthelongestandover150metersinlength,writeyournameonthemarkercardandplacethemarkerinthegroundonthespotwhereyourballlays.Oncethemarkerhasbeenplacedintheground,itshouldstaythereuntilsomeoneelsemakesadrivelongerthanyours.Then,thatpersonshouldrepeattheprocedureofwritingtheirnameonthecardbelowtheothername(s)andplacethemarkeratthespot.

APPENDIX-2ScorecardWhenplayinginMedigamesgolfcompetition,itisimportanttonotethatyouareresponsiblefortheaccuracyofyourscoreforeachhole,butyouarenotresponsiblefortheaccuraterecordingofthepointsscored;thatistheresponsibilityoftheMGTOC.Ifnoscoreisrecordedonahole,thecompetitorscoresnopointsforthathole.FORCategoryAMedigolfersITISIMPORTANTTONOTETHEGROSSSCOREFOREACHHOLE.CutThegolferswiththelowestscoresoverthefirsttworoundsmakethecutandcanplayinthethird.However,ifthereisatieforthatlastposition,thebestbackninescorewillbecounted.FailuretoHoleOutIfacompetitorfailstoholeoutatanyholeanddoesnotcorrecthismistakebeforehemakesastrokeonthenextteeinggroundor,inthecaseofthelastholeoftheround,beforeheleavestheputtinggreen,heisdisqualified.CountbackWherebytheplayerwiththelowestcumulative(net)scoreoverthelast18,9,6,3and1holesisdeclaredthewinner.
